ANVESH NAGABATHINI , 04 Feb 2015Wt abt notifications like whtsapp n mail's we can get thes... morethere is seriously some issue with WhatsApp notification sync..I don't get the notifications unless I open the app..I googled for all the possible methods to solve the issue but still not receiving..I replaced my handset also but still got the issue in new one..and yes there is some issue in Dolby speakers..my first handset speaker used to vibrate and had muffled sound..in the new one no such issue is there..so if anyone has the issue,kindly get it replaced asap..thanks

Anonymous, 04 Feb 2015The issue is not related to phone. It's related to settings... morebuddy, i tried enabling WAP PUSH but not working at all..this pissed me off like anything and mp3 file do interrupted on/off..would replacement be a better option??

huz, 04 Feb 2015friends do u have this issue..unless u open the whatsapp ap... moreI think i got that same issue. i used to receive message very lately and when i checkd the timing they had sent, it was long way back before i received..also i have problem with my audio/mp3 file which interrupts for 0.01 sec in between. It happens on and off even after the system has been updated.

Go for yureka if you are fan of 2gb ram,oct core and cynozenmod go with lenovo if you want vibrant display unlike yureka (having blue tint and oversaturated),better camera,powerfull multimedia save some money and lenovo is more relliable than yureka

I have been using this phone for 4 day and here are my thoughts...
I think the performance is good still there is very slight lag in ui and its in no way annoying. Its common in most of the smartphones.I think lenovo just needs to make the ui more refine which can be done via update.
Build is pretty nice and handset looks great and pretty sleek.
Display is great and for the most cases its sufficiently bright. Under direct sunlight it can be a bit dim( I'm talking about very bright day) but I don't think there are many smartphones in this range with so much brightness.
Sound quality is great. And i don't agree with varun about the speakers muffling sound. Speakers are very clear and loud. The cause of muffled sound is Dolby settings. Just switch them off while listening through the speakers. Ear piece is also loud and no problem in noisy area.
Camera is average. Not bad for the price. If ur main concern is camera go for redmi 1s.
BATTERY LIFE IS AMAZINGGGGGG.........
Phone does not heat a bit while playing heavy games too.
Gaming performance is good. A bit better than moto g 2nd gen. Real racing and gt racing 2 worked like charm.
3g 2g wifi all working great. There is no 4g in Lucknow so i was not able to check it.
No OTG support. Gps is ok.
Overall a great phone and a great buy.

Haven't seen bad things about the phone except from you.
Frankly I don't see any of the problems with my unit. For 6999, I can't find any phone giving these feature
