I watched videos and reviews whole night as well.
I have decided now, not to buy this phone.
As you said issues regarding screen visibility under sunlight and poor call audio quality in traffic, plus i reasearched and found that OTG not supported, and very poor RAM management. Hardly 200 mb ram is free under normal usage, as per the video reviews I saw on Youtube.
I have decided to wait for Redmi 2 (8 GB/1GB RAM or furhter wait for 16GB/2GB RAM model, these will be released in or after March'15.)

If ur budget is strictly 6k then go for refmi 1s , there is nothing better than redmi 1s in this world@6k
If u can spend 1k extra and want a better mobile than redmi 1s then blindly go for lenovo a6000
Its ur choice wheather to spend 1k or save 1k

lenovo please release another new system update..the recent release doesn't fix all bugs at all..my prob wit dis remains wit mp3 file it interrupted on/off while playing music. on almost every song like corrupted file..
