Dolby does not seem to work with the 'call and message' alerts, therefore incoming call or message sounds like that of a ridiculous average phone, I verified it thoroughly. However it works well with the Music and Google music apps, but again the equalizer setting can't be pushed all the way up on 5 bands as they drop down to the mid level. Are these bugs in software ? Does any know how to fix these 2 issues. 1- To make Dolby work with incoming call and message alerts and 2- Make equalizer 5 bands set all the way up!

It deteriorates because of how one uses it. If you intend to use a phone heavily and carelessly leaving aps to run on the background without properly closing it, you'll be shock to find even a 5000 mah battery run dry in a few hours. SO you have to close aps properly and take care of your phones, but that aside, I think this unit really does have a smaller battery capacity compared to another sister model (almost identical actually) the Lenovo A7000. For work purposes (call and text with occasional E-mails now and then, facebook too...maybe..I dont trust FB Messenger it drains memory) this phone is Okay! but if you intend to run aps and games and go crazy I guess this isn't the phone for you

i thought of buying this phone after it was sure there is an lollipop uptade..like in sept they are saying...if i buy this phone it has to last me atleast a year ! so should i go for it

I am using a6000 since april 9. I vl put my observations in 2 categories
1. Before OTA updates
good battery backup, good camera, nice display, very good sound, excellent call quality, rare lags, hardly any heating issue. Touch response not as smooth as honor 4x but still ok
2. after few updates
Battery backup is mostly d same, but now minor heating while charging. Bcomes laggy while playing candy crush soda. Camera performance slightly reduced. Touch response same ie not smooth but still manageable,
So u can buy this but dont update unless their is a lollipop update.

am using this phone for past 1 month !!! Best phone to have a hands on... Best battery backup , nice camera ( front cam is average in bad light ) ...

i hv buy this phone in may .that time its get heated while in charging .bt now no problem of getting heat .i love this phone very much its touch is good its not hang
its gameing support ie so good
ya bt i m not satisfied with net suffeing .in 2 g or 3 g
it not work properly only internet is slow bt others Wise it is best phone
i cn challenge in this range of money any mobile can't take over it in all way camera is superb

Guys Lenovo updated Android matrix page again today. A6000 is going to get Lollipop within August. But A6000 plus Lollipop release postponed to September 2015.
