Photos clicked by Lenovo A706 are very bad. Even my earlier 2 MP camera phone was clicking better pics then A706.

yes. problem is on SMS messaging only. but on FB an other messaging, keyboard do rotates. maybe software issue?

A review for the Lenovo A706:
The design of the phone is nice; I particularly like the feel and durability of the black back casing. No need to buy silly fat protective cases for this phone- just a screen protector. Physically I would rate it at 9/10 for 2 reasons: i) the camera protrudes about 1.5mm from the main back surface ii) it is necessary to remove the battery when changing sim cards. Note this phone uses full size sim cards, not micro Sims.
Usability; my main concern is that the touch screen seems to be slightly unresponsive, and not 100% accurate. Perhaps it lacks touch sensor resolution- often the object below the touch point is selected.
Software; My only problem is that the sound in Viber never works. Skype is fine. Tried updating phone, reinstalling viber, etc. Just does not work.
In general the user experience is good. Not much lag..things work most of the time, which is more than I can say for my Windows phone (Samsung Ativ S) which cost almost 3 times as much.
Conclusion;
Try the phone in-store. If you are 100% happy with how the touch screen functions...then it is a good buy. At this price you aren't likely to find anything with similar performance specs.

Go to seetings >apps > manage and than go on all apps > then click on left button of lenove (light bitton)> then click on reset apps
It automatically restores it

Lenovo A706 is great, not too expensive compare to samsung or experia, same function but cheaper. sony, apple and samsung, they include their brand to be paid....go for cheaper and same specification. don't be fool with the good advertisement, go for the phone that is functioning properly.

fiq .., 18 Dec 2013why when I download from playstore , the phone will respond... moreif u go to Applications in Settings, Click Accept other sources.....it should be at the top. try it and let the rest of bloggers know if it works.

I can set up group ringtone for my group contacts in Samsung & Nokia etc.
Is this facility available in Lenovo A706- I could n't find. Please guide
