just bought the phone last saturday, i do love the phone, but the battery drains fast. brought the phone back to where i purchased it and they replaced the battery.. hoping that the battery will now work (cross fingers)

I have bought A706 in Taiping Mall, Taiping, Perak
1. My external SD does not show the files which copy fm PC but the phone can detect it and can actually tell me the remaining space on the drive.
2. I cannot view the folder where I am placing my music.
3. Do you use "Play Music" as your music player? The application cannot detect my music either. Is there a specific folder where you will be saving your music files into for you to access it on "Play Music" app?
It shown "the file cannot play by this app".
What's wrong the phone or app?????
4. I had approached lenovo dealer who sell the same model, but the answer upset...

The good starting with 1.2 ghz quad core. With IPS screen. 4.5" display 1GB ram. .my brother also use this....

Hi guys. My phone having a strange behavior. Usually after let say 15 minutes or 30 minutes using WiFi, when I turn off the WiFi, the data connection won't come up unless we restart the phone.
Same problem with signal, after a long time in SOS mode (let say basement), when I get out to another area, the signal won't searching, still in SOS mode..
Is anyone have the same problem here? and how do we resolve it? Once I go to lenovo center, they reset to factory. Problem solved but the day after, same problem happen.

off your phone.
press power+volume up and down together, hold it until u see the lenovo's logo, still hold, after few seconds you'll see the recovery mode.

1. i think ure having problem with your SD card, why not if u try to use another SD card and install the 360camera apps again. or , u take out ur SD card, install the apps to your mobile phone and see either u having any problem or not, camera 360 is working fine on my phone.
2. sometimes, due to insufficient storage on ur phone will cause this issue as well, u cant even open any application until u uninstall any useless apps from ur phone.
3. im using the play music on my phone and its working perfectly, able to detect the song and no issue at all. if let say u store the song into your SD card, try to store it into your phone and see either its working or not. if working, then replace yr SD card.

hello guys, i have a problem about my phone,
previously i deleted the google apps store because the it didn't work. And then later i want to download a the latest apps store with updated version on the apps store. when i clicked the apps store, it says that "this application is not installed,would you like to download it"?, then i clicked the download button (with wifi) and automatically opened a browser that brings me to online googles apps store. then i click my apps and it shows me that my google apps has installed. then i click it to reinstall my google apps store, AND THEN it says that "congratulations that you has purchase the apps store the apps will downloaded soon", but when i looked at my file browser, THERE IS NO APPS STORE.
please help me, every time i reinstall, i always waiting that my apps will download.
tell me what's the solution, when is the "soon".
And i'm still trying to find the solutions in the internet.

I read all comments in this thread regarding the phone but I have some concerns with my Lenovo A706. I hope you can help me.
1. With regards to "screen capturing", I have tried holding down the power button while pressing the volume down for a few seconds, but nothing happened. Is there another way to capture the screen?
2. Sometimes, my external SD does not show the files in it but the phone can detect it and can actually tell me the remaining space on the drive. It does not tell me that the SD card has stopped working or whatever though. Sometimes, I cannot view the photos I have in my SD card. Is it with the folder where I am placing my photos?
3. I installed Camera360 on my phone. After a while of using the app, I cannot go into my Gallery to view my photos. Gallery kept on kicking me out. I uninstalled it and rebooted the phone. Same thing happened. I restored factory settings and it went well. I downloaded again Camera360 thinking that it was not the reason for it. And there it was, same thing happened. I like the app, is there anything I can do for this not to happen again? Or are there any other better apps for photo capturing and picture enhancing?
