i have a problem in my lenovo.. i cant disable the autocorrect..its driving me nuts i turned off all the speeling etc but still the same.. can u help me how to disable the autocorrect and when i double space it theres always a period i dont want period i want double space.. help pls

simply amazing! no doubts. no regrets.. been using mobile for 15yrs now and i can say i have tried almost all devices as a cellhone technician.. this a706 is seemless.. salute!

Pros: 2000 mah battery, 2 sim card slot, micro sd up to 32GB, somehow can play 720p movies, large screen, has dolby digital plus (only works when earphones are inserted :c),pretty fast response
Cons: 5mp camera captures awful photos, only has 756MB RAM unlike the promised 1GB, unresponsive soft keys (sometimes), lags when playing minion rush, top part easily gets hot when playing.
--btw, I'm using the black lenovo a706 that has a matte finish at the back. hope this helps

I am using this phone for close to two months now and my experience is not positve. My earlier phone was Samsung Mini Pop S 5570.
1. I got this phone for Rs. 13,700 from a local store.
2. I bought this phone because I fancied that quadcore processor means your phone is superfast.
3. I fancied that phone with 2000 M battery will definitely last for a day atleast. But alas!! I was wrong.The battery backup is as bad as Samsung mini which comes for only Rs. 8000 now.
4. This phone heats up a lot. So if you are using it for long conversation, your ears might burn up and you will not like this phone.
5. Phone has very basic issues. e.g. I am using it for Vodafone -Punjab as my sim name which comes by default. Now issue is that Vodafone Punjab word is coming as overlapped with other words like Mobile or other name. This is a basic issue with how the Lenovo team has done testing with the software. If any string is long, they should atleast cut it so that yout names are not overlapping.
6. I am using the latest version of 130923. But, when I am trying to disconnect the phone while I have dialed a number, it does not disconnect. The call simply gets connected.
7. Also Mobile icon are appearing twice with two red and two green on the dialing screen.
8. I did not like the user experience as much as it was reflecting on day-1 when I bought it. Now the lag in screen poping up is much more.
9. The phone buttons dont respond immediately - at some points, when I am trying to touch a few options on the website like (Download), nothing happens. It feels so stupid to be pressing a button 3-4 times and then the actual action taking place with so much lag.
I am planning to go to lenovo service center, however, I really dont see a great remedy and they will hold my phone for couple of days which will be really stupid to handover your phone to service center after paying approximately 14k.
Folks consider your options before buying this phone.

I have problems with my microphone earphone. When i call using earphone.. My friend cant hear me.. I have tried with other earphone.. Same.. And the button at the earphone did'n work.. When i click that button.. The music was not on or off.. Before this all work perfectly.. And i had reset factory data.. Nothing change.. Help me.. Are my phone damage?

How to turn off the camera sound without using other camera apps? There are features that the camera phone itself is more useful. Besides it's 5mp right? Thanks for the help.

DAN, we all had this problem with Viber and Line. Lenovo made an update and Viber/Line works.
ANONYMOUS, download an other cam, as cam360, and you can remove the shutter noise.
