my A706 sometimes having a "memory card removed unexpectedly" problem. i swap with another microsd but still having the same prob. anyone having this kind of problem?

here is my hands on experience with A706. It is a decent phone with a good but not the best processor and it gets the job done. Internet data speed is above average, I do get a reading of 2-3 mbps average. Screen is fine, compared to my pre owned p770 I like this screen better considering it has a lower ppi than p770. Battery is average if you will use your data often, an extra battery is needed. About bugs? it was already addressed, no issues after that. For those who are having problems with the keyboard layout in landscape you just need to take time and configure with your keyboard settings. Rather complaining, deal with it! ;). Not a phone issue you lazy ass. :-)

YEY ... Viber is fully working now after the latest firmware update. Voice can be heard loud and clear to the other person.
Now I can say that this is a great phone for the price. Great for web browsing, YouTube videos, music, gaming and most stuff u wud do on a mobile phone at a moderate level. Ofcoz there still are a few glitches but hope lenovo will address these issues.

Hi all,
For all of you who can't type SMS app in landscape mode, you are not alone. My friends who own another new type model (S920 & S820) also facing this problem. I thought this is because the new Lenovo Launcher doesn't support landscape mode in SMS app (might be they forgot to see this? Dunno :D).
The previous model (A800, P770, S720 etc) use the different Launcher called "IdeaDesktop". Just like my A800 it works with the landscape mode. But for the newer model, it called "Lenovo Launcher". My only suggestion is to use the third party SMS app for the time being until Lenovo fix this Launcher via Software Updates to maximize our needs.

Hi all, since the software update Internal version (A706ROW_1_S_2_001_0021_130829) Free Calling went good. The other party hear loud & clear. I suggest you should update immediately to anyone who use VoIP apps occasionally.
If some of you still had trouble with the mic VOiP, my only guess is your VoIP mic background app stopped unexpectedly. As you know, Android kill apps who runs in the background to conserve memory usage automatically. Please try to uninstall/disable apps that you don't use especially who runs in the background.
