Very fast. Works smoothly. Only thing that sucks here is when you use the dat mobile Nd tethering. The 3g is a bit slower than other phones. And the tethering when other devices or even if onlg 1 device is connected... lets say a laptop... the internet is really really slow. Not because of the network provider but because of the phone

Yes I did try installing old version of Viber, and it worked fine >>>
But how about LINE and other VOIP apps ????
I think Lenovo must consider this major problem before it is too late.

I'm a Lenovo novice user. I've got the latest firmware through OTA. Well I've been using this for 3 weeks now but i haven't encountered any problem yet. So far its runs smoothly and responsively perhaps its a 1.2ghz Quad core I can feel the quickness & no lagging (i would suggest not to install a 3rd party themes,the default lenovo themes much better) However, there is something more to improve maybe extending the internal storage or add some option where to install the apps without doing some rooting the unit otherwise you will void the warranty. Also the camera is not quite impressive in tends to be fuzzy & dull in some certain occasions probably adding camera shake control would be better. Speaking of battery life, running Android OS is a big issue but this A706 is equipped with merely a 2000maH power that impressive enough last for 36hrs without wi-fi connection, if you just listen to music maybe approx. 18hrs. Adding OTG capable it would be a plus since OTG is becoming popular now. But in general its far better & user friendly mobile phone.
