My tab shuts down if I leave it for some interval..
And I have to turn it on again

Guys, I wonder if anyone here knows how to turn off the sound of the camera when it captures a picture? I've put my phone's volume at the lowest, but it didn't work. Thanks.

Moemen, 02 Jan 2015Can anyone comment on how this device perform? fast, normal... moreOnly pure players need more and more (expansive) power. This one offers more than we need for normal use, now with 4.4.2 (have a look to my upper post).
There is not any magnetic sensor : no compass allowed.
The fm receiver allows to save 5 radio stations. If they send they name, it's displayed.
The GPS sensor is (not so) sensitive. Less than on Nexus 9, but still effective on road.

I have a A7-40 A3500-FL (no gsm capabilities)
I think there is no magnetic sensor as I can't use compass programm. But Carte du Ciel (CdC) still works well despite the sky "follows" me as I change the side of view.
GPS works well (Google Map, Waze . . .)
OTG works very well with USB adapter and SDCard 32GO. I can see pictures (JPEG) of my Canon Eos 6D and full HD movies of this camera (.MOV files).
You can plug on OTG, and use an USB mouse too, use right clic...
And finally, there is a FM receiver working on headphones or speakers ; reception is from air (MHZ) and not from Internet. No need of data connection to listen to the radio ;)

Anonymous, 31 Dec 2014Can the Lenovo A3500 make phone calls?yes and no depending on the model you've got. the HV has data (HSPA) and voice call features (2G), the H version is data only (HSPA) and no voice call features, while the F model is Wi-Fi only and has not SIM slot for either data or voice calls.

AnonD-345204, 08 Jan 2015How the hell do i get my volume louder with my earphones pl... morethere is a pop-up, warning you about the possible hearing damage of loud volumes from earphones. maybe you were pressing "ok" instead of "cancel" which would possibly explain the volume remaining at 30% (its default "safe" sound volume level).

overall this is a pretty good tablet. almost got the a3300 but for a few more bucks I get an HD screen, front facing speakers and voice call features (I got the HV version - data and voice, the H version has no voice call feature just data while the F is Wi-Fi only). my two biggest surprises (and biggest disappointments) on this tablet is that the front facing speakers are not stereo and no dolby digital sound! coming from a lenovo s930 (6inch, 720p phone) which has the said features, I was expecting all of these features to be there on the a3500, I mean, they put it on the a1000 for crying out loud!

The lenovo A3500-F is great very good f or games. As it is onlay the wi-fi versoin.display is HD soo... Great tablet..
