Lenovo backed ZUK Z1 to be unveiled next month

Chinese start-up Zuk, which is backed by tech giant Lenovo and local software company 360 - will be holding a press conference on August 11 where they will be unveiling their high-end Z1 smartphone.

From what is known till now, the device will run Cyanogen OS, and feature a USB Type-C 3.0 port as well as a fingerprint sensor dubbed U-Touch. It is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 810 octa-core chipset with 3GB of RAM, sport a 5.5-inch display, come with 13MP main camera, and pack in a 4000mAh+ battery.

The handset will be available for purchase via Chinese e-commerce site JD.com. It is expected to release in September. There is, however, no information yet on pricing.
