As mentioned in comments, you can get LTE all major telcos like Maxis, Digi, Celcom. But since Umobile is using Maxis radio spectrum it will have 4G as well. I'm using Maxis also got 4G connection.
When first you got this phone you will notice bad english/chinese translation and frequent "X program stopped working". Over The Air (OTA) update give more problems. However update by manual flashing (find them on Needrom) will not give any problems. So it's recommended not to click update if the phone shows update is available. After this step then you can use with no problem.
This phone is not recommended for those who didn't want to do extra work after you bought them. If people want to buy please choose A806 model only. the other one (A808t) will not usable in other country outside china. cheers

Any Malaysian user here？ Is this model cater for Umobile services (both data and phone line ) ?
Does any updating done to the phone creates problem (language change to original Chinese version, etc etc)?

The thing is after you got the phone you need to update by manually flash the rom (ota update is not recommended). After that everything is working just fine. For this price and spec, there will always be a catch

Started off fine and then 'Google play has stopped working', then everything went into Chinese...then none of my apps would open after download...then reboot did not help...go in touch with Google here in Ireland and they could not help and suggested I demand a refund of my 197 euros which I did from 123discountshop.co.uk and they eventually refunded me in full...I should not have bought and way too many pre-installed apps and all Chinese and no way of putting English in it...you have been warned

The internal memory supposed to be
16GB but A806 could not handle the same number of application I had in a Samsung Galaxy S3 internal memory 8GB. after a week I couldn't insert the charger in the USB Port so I couldn't charge the battery. DO NOT BUY THIS MOBILE PHONE IT'S JUST A WASTE OF MONEY. spend a bit extra and get a Samsung Galaxy S4 or HTC one M8 even better

i updated the system to the latest version.how ever,my A806 was crash and dialogue unfertunately google play services has stopped.
can i delete or undone the system update or how to get back last version update?

i always using 4g..yup a806 most of the best phone..but i just using 4g if needed..if u always turn on 4g network, that network will using your data i large quantity..so u will last your mobile data shortly..but its ok if you have unlimited data from your network vendor.

in my opinion, if u using ap phone..means that phone is note develop for your country...do not uppdate your system..that will make your phone change language to chinese.and play store will gone.please ensure that..
if your phone cannot uppdate the system, that good because the phone store already done it for u..
but u can update the apllication as well(aplication such as facebook and all u download yourself)thats dosent matter..
if you already have this problem, i think u should root and install a row rom..how?..there much people expert doing rooting phone..search them in facebook or blogs..or much better go to phone store u buy :)

i got some problem solution....have u exprerience that your a806 hanging, freez while calling, playing games, also became slow sometimes?..in my experience i feel unhappy with this problem and always think to buy other model..but i change my mind because i just found the solution in all of this problem..most important after using this phone is u need to clear a ram..but how?...ok u just hold press the menu icon(on the centre below) then u will see a tasking..then press on circle left of the tasking viewer...when u always clear a ram, your phone will work in good condition and save your battery usage..urm u also can create a refresh ram icon on screen..just find your security app(official lenovo)..click on 3 line up side left-->setting-->clean up shortcut..done
then i will suggest you to use this security app as well, this app have a good function and needed by a806..such as speed up ram, u can select just needed aplication running ur phone ram usage..
how??..ok just go to security app, select speed up-->auto start apps-->turn off all except app u need always to allert u, such as facebook, email, wassup, wechat and so on..but if you really want to save ram usage just off all application auto start-->restart your phone..if you get a problem, just turn it on auto start back..
and with this security app, u also can block app to collect your data, in privacy guard
ok, if you like to root ur a806, just make sure dont uninsttal this security app...

I use this phone w/o any problem until I do enable system update from dev to latest.after that my phone can't access Google play store,G mail n many Google apps more.all of my downloaded appa was disappears.how can I get my all apps back?is there any possible way for me to do?
