Also you're completely off about no updates as well, the latest update is from 2014/11/20 which is _yesterday_.

lenovo don't give support, don t give upgrade , lenovo SUCKS!
they sell the phone worldwide, but the phone can't sell it worldwide because simply don't work! full of issues , i hope cyanogenmod release a rom for this stupid chinese phone, LENOVO SUCKs

Hi...I hv problems with this phone..each time i open notifications setting in the setting or press the 'more' buttons in the notification center it will crash...to resolve have to restore back to factory setting...can someone tell me how to solve this problems without restoring to factory setting...by the wall this phone is nice if without the notification center problem....

i bought this phone today . its a great phone . fast n smooth . but when i play games , the temperature hot on the back camera . it cause battery drain faster . hmm .. i use a850+ before i buy this phone . i like about the a850+ is just bcause the screen is big and octa core . this phone only 5inch screen but it also octa core and great camera . its a great low budget phone .

Info: there is 2 version of rom for a806, multilanguange & chinese+english. Each one has different type of bugs. If your vibe ui version is 14xx.xx something, then your rom is chinese+english version

Both of them use a-series and one more use s-series. They've been using for about 4 to 7 months and so far they got no problems with lenovo. Just that low frontcam quality, that's all. Otherwise it is all okay. And when u said that u got problems im a bit shocked cause my friends doesnt have any? I surveyed on lenovo malaysia official web and found no a806 phone. Maybe this phone wasn't really approved by lenovo malaysia or what?? Hm.. I just don't know what else to say. I'm a type of person who used phone for a long time, even my current phone i have been using since 2011.
I want phone with internal 16gb, ram 2gb, if can i want an octa core. The market? If can i want 4.4 if can't then 4.3 is okay. I want 13mp rear canera and 5mp frontcam. Price range if can below 800.. Can u suggest a phone with these specs i want? Im gonna buy new smartphone maybe in early december thanks if u or anyone can help me!!
-I'm not a rich person. So i really wanted as cheap as I could find. Thanks to those who helps.

I'm a malaysian and I DONT recommend u to buy this or ANY lenovo phone. At first I saw this phone was quite cheap and the specs are quite not bad, therefore I bought it this phone. After about 3 weeks, the problems, errors and more start to appearing 1 by 1. I went to the service centre and asked for repair, they said about 2 months to repair.
I'm seriously regret for buying this lenovo phone as first I wanted to give a try on lenovo phone as I never use it before. I rather buy SAMSUNG or APPLE, although it is much expensive than this Lenovo but I willing to take a lower specs or similar specs with a little bit higher price.
I hope you guys don't be the next like me.
This is a SERIOUS & REAL matter. I'm not joking or lying. You can trust not to believe me If you willing to throw your money on useless stuffs.

i have bought the phone but there is a problem.
When i am using the phone everything is perfect i receive calls and everything. But when i don't use it after a while it is like it falls asleep and when someone calls he gets a message that my phone is turned off. Does anyone know if there is a setting that causes this problem or a software problem?
Has anyone had this problem?
