Lenovo never comes with a sim slot. I don't want to lug around a separate wifi hotspot to bring along. I suppose that's not the worse idea because a hotspot would be more versatile and doesn't eat up the tab's battery, but still, I would've liked the convenience.

Hi. I've been using it a month now. The only thing that bothers me is no updates coming (OTA). Update check won't find any, however security obviously needs an update. Have you guys received any? What's the problem?

TheyCallMeChris, 14 Mar 2025I have this tablet so. It does have 4k (front camera), but ... moreDisagree on "pretty buggy". It sounds much worse than it actually is.

If you are able to speak and understand Chinese, you can get off Aliexpress since it is cheaper. If not, I would recommend you wait. The Xiaoxin Pad is meant for the Chinese market and for some interface it will only show as Chinese. Also, judging from the spec sheet itself, there is no difference between the 2 specs wise, unlike for The Yoga Tab plus which has a slower charging speed (thus giving you a weaker charging brick) and lower built in memory (256GB vs 512GB. Comparing the highest spec cause only the highest spec supports Local Device AI). Hope this info helps.

Wow this is actually a pretty damn good deal, with the Dimensity 8300 it's just one tier below the ultra premium segment for 1/3 the price. WIth SD card expansion, that most Xiaomi/Vivo/Huawei don't give you and you have a best in segment tablet! In my country, they bundled the 256g versuib together with the keyboard case + pen + 45w charger + cable for ~$500 usd. So the price of an entry level 5 yr old Samsung tablet you can get near cutting edge with full options! Very impressive, especially when they upgrade this model with the Dimensity 9300 which is current year flagship level!

I have the xiaoxin pad pro 2025, and it's pretty much the same with this. I wonder the rationale for a idea pad pro 2025.

I have this tablet so. It does have 4k (front camera), but both cameras are pretty bad, ZUI 16 is pretty buggy, but overall the performance is pretty good. It supports microSD, it charges in 1-1.5 hours. All the google services are really optimised. Some things that should be customisable aren't. The audio is GREAT. Battery lasts a lot. The display is really fluid. Comes with the pencil out of the box. The price is really affordable. Overall: 8.2/10. You should buy it! (With the keyboard it's the best experience)
