HI all there, i bought this tab last week and it is awesome i must say in this price range, features are very good and battery backup is also good. i must say rather than buying other stupid low ranges one should go for it... Lenovo for those who do....!!!

i am using this tab it is very good at this price i purchased from kolkata at rs 8300 u can use sim for calling as well as for net surfing i am typing from my lenovo a1000 right now , battery bak up is very good last 1.5 days for me .

In Thailand, A1000 advertised as tablet-phone support only GSM (no 3G).

Dear All...
Please make a note that, there are 2 different tabs,
1. Lenovo ideatab A1000
2. Lenovo A1000
Do not get confused between them.
Lenovo ideatab A1000 was released in January 2013 and it does NOT support sim card and voice calling.
Where as Lenovo A1000 was released in August 2013 and it DOES support sim card and voice calling.

I bought a lenovo A1000 there is a sim slot at the side but it is sealed, neither it has any dialer application.
Don't know if it actually supports voice call

I Bought this tab last week and this is great. Speed is super fast and clarity is good. I saw the reviews and this seems good tab and now I am completely satisfied.
Pros
1) good battery
2) clarity is good. I can play all type of HD movies without lag
3) no heat while using.I tried gaming for 3 hours and still its very cool
4) speed is super fast
5) I am able to connect pendrive which is fat32. I guess NTFS is not supported. U need to buy a otg cable to connect pendrives n it costs 120 rs
5) speakers are amazing. Its Dolby digital And its very cool
6) The games are working without any lag
7) Hearing music in headphones are amazing.
8) GPS is working fine
If you have confusion of buying micromax or any other tabs for budget buy this one. It casts 9000 rs in Chennai.
No camera and 3g but who cares it looks amazing
