I have been using this tab for 6 months,no such problem. I had problem with screen rotation,and its been a month my complain has not been solved yet. Not at all happy with custmer service. that the only defect,otherwise it is a best tablet at this price range

hi there. i own a lenovo a3000, as for the calling and sms function you can head to the xda developers to install the 4.2.2 call fuse firmware. this will enable both sms and call function along side with the OTA udates from lenovo. and here is the link with a guide.http://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-a3000/development/rom-lenovo-ideatab-a3000-h-call-t2441135
