Here are a few answers to some questions I've read.
I have a Lenovo A3000-H, 16GB. It does not have a calling function BUT it does SMS.
As you have seen on this forum, you can update the firmware so that it can make phone calls. I have still not updated my firmware for my tab.
It has Dual Sim, for 2G and 3G.
It has no camera flash, so pictures at night are not so good.
I have WhatsApp running on it from WhatsApp website, Google play store will tell you "device not supported".
I also have BBM aswell, "not from google PlayStore".
I bought it for USD $285, in Zimbabwe.
Also, while it does SMS, there is no native keypad or calling app so you cant do USSD codes to check the balance in your sim card. I even tried installing calling app. So, i think once you install calling firmware then you can manage to do USSD codes and check your balance.
I was going to buy the samsung 7 inch BUT money was a factor, however its a great device, performance is good so im stoked. I hope this helps someone.

it is not working anymore after 2 months that i did not used it... is there any solution for this? and i have it on my bag for that period.

help, what do i do to my tab a3000 to hold the application icons for a period of time, it happens when im playing an rpg game like final fantasy, i cant hold the screen in such period of time to control properly my main character in a map. when i go to the mall where i buy the device to ask my problem in the screen and had not enough sensitivity, and they say that its normal because its cheap and its not an high end device.. sigh... can anyone please help me to my problem, thanks in advance

when comparing two devices the most important is the CPU, number of cores, RAM , internal memory , external memory limit , rear camera , front camera........ etc.
