How come it can be used for calling in Asia while here in Saudi Arabia it can't call at all. I told by the salesman and that is all it can do.... Very strange?

This have to be done by flashing it BUT THIS WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY

But you can flash the original rom on it again if any thing happens and need to go to the warranty .... it is included in the previos topic too

Just buy few days ago, its good device with price range 686 wit protactor and cover,
Sim 1 support 3G,2G ,sim 2 support 2g , u can call from both sims, functions are nice, the screen also nice but if u zoon pictires it gets hazzy, so u cant compare it with samsung or i pad,
no doubt it is so nice in that price range, i realy enojy it

-Just got my ideatab a3000-h white 16 gb three days ago
and activated it as a phone and works very well for both sims calling and recieving
-The screen is better than I expected , perfect for reading books :)
-It feels sturdy in hands
-Very Good speakers
-The battery is just 3 days old and doing very well
-Got light sensor and proximity sensor too but no gyro nor compass
-Got microusb port that can take an OTG cable for flash drives but unfortionatly not with external HDD as i tried my 1 tb WD and didn't work well with it
-The earpiece speaker isn't too loud but works good
Finally it is avery good tablet for the price and doing very well ....... if you want a good tablet for reading and working on the internet and some gaming .... this is your goal ..... nice cheaper one
Good work Lenovo ..... I really love this company .... My laptop is Lenovo too and I love it ... :) :) :)

Anonymous, 08 Oct 2013how about hdmi compatibility?There is no HDMI port on it but you can use aplug and play Microusb-HDMI cable ..... but not sure about it as I didn't try it

Interesting model if compared with Samsung Tab 3 price more cheaper, in Malaysia it be sold around RM 6xx if I am not mistaken... but I heard this model not having vibration function like other phones its correct....? plan to buy
