This is a Lenovo K30-t or K3, and not K3 note topic. there is a big difference between k3 and K3 note on specifications and performance..it can mislead people who want to buy the best smartphone

Get rid of anything you dont want.
Disable those apps that you cannot uninstall but do not wish to consume data, space and battery.
Using the K3 Note for about 3 months. Smooth. No hanging. Good Speaker. Decent Camera. (Better than my P780)
Battery would typically last about a little more than a day. My P780 does two days + some.
So far I have been happy with the Lenovo Phones that I have in the family. All still in use.
P770 (2 Years), P780 (15 months), P70 (9 Months), K3 Note (3 Months).
The only disaster was the A610e CDMA which died in one year.

Lenovo now need to do new K5 or K6 with new specs:
1.Display.- 5"inches FHD - Super AMOLED - CGG 4
2.Memory.- 4 GB RAM
3.Chipset.- MediaTek MT6797 ( Helio X20 )
4.Camera.- 12 MP front & back - led flash for both side - or 1-one rotation camera
5.Battery.- 3000mAh

OK here is the real deal on the Lenovo K3 Note for anyone in the U.S. brave enough to try anything. First off Lenovo makes awesome computers that is why they have been building the IBM think pads and think centers forever...
Lenovo does not market this phone in the US and does not support its use in the US, for good reason it is a GSM phone so you are already limited to use with ATT or T-Mobile.
Next it does not operate on the correct frequencies to get anything other than 2G (in the U.S.), which means you can talk and send texts but you will not be using any of the Internet, data or web app functions of the phone unless you are hooked up to a wifi connection.
Next for those of you who are brave enough to try it anyway, I am still using it on an ATT MVNO (Puretalk) and the voice and texts are fine, and I'm OK with wifi Internet only.
Next is the issue of the spyware/bloatware/malware that comes loaded on the phone and is really a major irritant for anyone who doesn't already have a big brother named Communist China.... If you want to use this phone for yourself, you will seriously have to flash it (In computer speak thats reformat the hard drive and install a new operating system) . Its a simple process if you know what you are doing and since most people won't, there is an excellent on line tutorial by a young man with a great sense of humor who does such a good job of instruction that a 3rd grader could follow the bouncing ball. I would advise using the Adroium OS (which will be in the download files provided with the instructions).

Whatever you do, don't trash the phone it will have a resale value at or near its original purchase price for probably a couple of years. It is every bit as good a smart phone as the iPhone or the Galaxy in the right market, so just because you can't get max use out of it in the U.S. doesn't mean you can't sell it via Amazon or ebay to a customer in China or India.

I bought it and after 3 days the right side of the screen stop responding! It wasn't a hardware problem but s firmware problem, downloaded an updated firmware version, however the problem persisted but now ads show unexpectedly, until I got so upset and I literally broke it in half...this is the worst phone I have ever used in my life! (even though I have owned unbranded Chinese phones before). Using it for a month was the worst experience in my life! (bearing in mind I fought in the military) I can not express how much I hate that phone, I will NEVER be buying any Lenovo products again! And I urge the rest of you to save the money until you can buy from reputable brand.

Dear All,
I would like to ask for your help. I have bought a Lenovo K3 (not note).
One function is not working on the cell phone.
I have assigns photos to the telephone numbers. But, when I want to start a phone call, or when I have an incoming phone call the screen doesn't show the photo what I have given to the phone numbers.
I am sure that it is basic set, because older phones know this funcition automatically. What I am doing wrong? Maybe there is a problem with the softver?

Please don't go for lenovo phone.
Complete waste of money and time. Customer service is horrible and unfriendly.
Bought a k3 note 3 months back and had to take the phone twice to customer service as the touch was not working at all. It was with customer service for 2 months and I have hardly used the phone for 1 month.
Phone has good features but how will you use them if the phone itself is not working.

Warning...warning.....warning...!
Do not buy any kind of lenovo phone coz evry phone has the same issues like phone hanging up, network problem, motherboard issue. Lenovo folks swap my p780 with k3 note and they gave me refurbished model so u cannot get back what u invested.. And their service center's also has low categories.. They just decive people like change batteries from customers phone. My friends have also facing same problems they got different models but problems are same ... Its better go for samsung or moto ... Do one thing just go to service center any one of ur near and and see how people abuse them coz i have seen this whole year from the date of purchase of my mobile...lenovo faild in mobile sector i think they only expertise in computers... Do not wast ur hard earn money...who those can understand they will survive but who make mistake then there is nothing left to regret..mind it

Its such a great phone,I am using this phone, I did not get any problem. And its very fast and smooth with octa core 1.7ghz cortex processor and 2gb ram, I did never seen such a phone in other company as Sony micromax moto, lenovo k3 note really good phone in this price
