                              Anonymous, 12 Dec 2019Hi How do I put a SIM card in the lenovo k5 pro mobile?There is a pin that comes with the box. And there is a slot for the sim card and me card on the left side of the phone. Use the pin there:)

                                I just rooted this phone with Magisk by patching boot image (no TWRP required). Everything works fantastic. No ads after installing Ad Away to patch hosts file. Added Camera2 API module for Magisk, and GCam port works fantastic - you get HDR+, Night Sight, Super Res Zoom, Motion Auto, Panorama, Lens Blur. Unless you use stock Camera app's "Pro" mode which has manual Metering, ISO, White Balance options, Google (Pixel) Camera app with HDR+ almost always takes better pics with same phone, same sensor than stock Lenovo Camera app in Auto mode.

                                  Having had more time to thoroughly use this phone, I can say that this is one of the best and rare "modern" phones with a traditional design, no notches, punch holes and popup camera nonsense, a relatively "new" Android (Oreo 8.1, although it probably won't get Pie or Android 10 but hey all apps will support Oreo for a really long time).

                                  Unlike other Chinese phones with no notification LED, and very very aggressive background task killing (https://dontkillmyapp.com/), this phone handles notifications fine without the system aggressively killing everything in the background.

                                  You do have to turn off "Battery optimization" in Battery section of Settings for certain apps but after that notifications from any and all apps are delivered very reliably. Best of all, it has a very big bright, very prominently visible notification LED (Blue only though). It becomes red when charging and green when fully charged (but can't be set per-app).

                                  Show me any other brand phone running Oreo, Pie or Android 10 that came out in 2019 or very late 2018 which can properly and very reliably handle and deliver notifications and comes with a LED. You won't find any except the Lenovo K5 Pro.
