AnonD-191379, 09 Oct 2013guys im confused whether to root this phone or not in order... morewhy do you need to root this phone. You have 2gb ram, 2gz processor. generally everyone roots the phone because they lack memory. if they root they can remove unwanted apps and speed the processor. without rooting you have memory and speed.

very lousy service centre in malaysia, Lenovo appointed third party that lack of experience to handle it. and thye location of service centre was far out of city.

As gsmarena is an international site there are comments from users of all over the world and I have noticed that users of K900 from USA are not at all happy with the phone and the reason behind this are no google play, and many missing things that an android device should have as well as defective ones in the US market, so my suggestion to the people of India is not get influenced by the comment posted by the Americans and only go for reviews on Indian sites as the stock of k900 over here is not defective and is very different from the one that has been shipped to USA by Lenovo, in other words the Indian stock has very less complains of defective devices as well has all the things that an high end android piece should have.

????????, 07 Oct 2013How is the camera quality of this set??camera is perfect like the s4 and get really good and bright pictures,
the main disadvantage is the wifi problems,
the battery back up of mine is perfect and the lcs work perfectly also after changing the rom it wont heat that much also i prefered it was 32gb but i can manage to use the 11gb of mine well.

... moreLooks like you got serious problem dude, i have been using this phone since past 1 month, no issues whats so ever. I think you should also uninstall crappy apps that you don't really need. - I did that as a very first thing when i got this cell.
Face book app - removed - can be logged in through browzer.
Browzer chrome - removed - l like the default one.
Other crappy apps - etc. you get my point.

Hi,
It’s really a bad experience to own a Lenovo K900.
1) WIFI direct is not working.
2) Phone becomes hot like a burning coal even if I’m talking over the call.
3) Battery drains out as fast as planes take off, even if I’m try to make some changes in the setting.
4) Apps closes automatically
5) Recently came up with a problem screen goes off unable to operate the phone for almost an our.
I had to take the phone to service station & was been asked to change the Mother board.
Customer service is also really bad, no one is ready to help.
Guys humble request please not to buy this phone.

AnonD-193722, 06 Oct 2013 hiii i got my lenovo k900 2 days back it is working good b... morehey jainnu did you activated these sensors by going in settings or you are just trying to use them out of the box, please go in settings there will be three tabs, select the middle one which is for gesture settings and activate the sensor.

hiii i got my lenovo k900 2 days back it is working good but its some sensor features like shake to lock ,double tap , pocket mode etc are not working so can an one tell me wat to doo ..... ? so they could work

my experience with Lenovo K900 after 2 months:
Good:
Big and high resolution display
Good camera with sharp photo taken
Negatives:
No external SD card slot
Lack of post sale support
No response from Lenovo forum support for issues
Screen lag using the default theme
Issues:
Phone rebooted twice by itself in 2 months
Heavy battery consumption, last only a day with WIFI on
Not working with MHL to HDMI cable to project phone content to TV
Not working with WIDI device Netgear PTV1000
Intermitently can't detect headset plugged in
