Lenovo launches the A7000 in India for $144

Lenovo has launched the new A7000 smartphone in India. The phone is priced at Rs. 8,999 ($144) and will be available exclusively through Flipkart and the frustrating flash sale system.

The Lenovo A7000 has a 5.5-inch 720p display, MediaTek MT6752 chipset with octa-core 1.7GHz CPU and Mali-T760MP2 GPU, 2GB RAM, 8GB expandable internal memory, 8 megapixel rear camera, 5 megapixel front camera, dual-SIM support, LTE, 2900mAh battery, and Android 5.0 Lollipop. The A7000 is the first phone in the world to have Dolby Atmos sound.
