HelioG42069, 19 Oct 2024If you use the 3.5mm jack for calls, you better pray to god... moreMaybe but I do. Really enjoying swtiching back to wired. Not all the hussles and the weight of bt headsets. Also for music apps, not that 100-200 ms unbearable latency.

Also I saw no GPS. Another bummer.

Seems a gaming thing, not made for even light productivity.

Also no gplay. Manual gplay chinese install opened box, ouch, it hurts... And about app compatibility then, on my alldocube already a few apps say 'cannot install on this device' even with apk.

Looks heavey also, 350g. because of battery but still, Heavey for an 8 inch tablet.

I'm in Asia right now, I've seen good price. i wonder it's true ( I mean, the 2024 version...). Will contact the shop , just curious.

Gen3 3687.99hz scroll refresh yes....that's about it. for gaming, probably, not for me.

JTY4, 19 Oct 2024But I don't want to deal with Chinese firmware and no ... moreIf it's like the previous years' Y700 models, there will be a global version with Google Services. Just wait and buy that one. The China model will always be announced and released before the global model.

HelioG42069, 16 Oct 2024I- i uhh, 3.5mm jack on a tablet??? That's not really ... moreYes it is. Can't live without the 3.5 now in my alldocube.
Like for phone call. It has sim card, very useful when on travel with a temp sim.

Don't buy those expensive sh.t. y700 with sneeaky china installed play store. Will have compatibility issues, apps like WhatsApp refusing to install.
Spec made to bait you in the end it's an expensive sh t
Was looking at iPad mini 7 but it sxcks too . even more expensive fancyness. it lacks sim, jack, those are so basic but very useful feature. Don't tell me to deal with adapter and hub, what's that.

Please launch this in the USA! Phones are too small and most tablets are too big for gaming. I don't want to buy iPad Mini.

Although an OLED Display would be good. But whatever, to compete ipad mini 7 & finger pointing Samsung's audacity to go bigger, for God's sake, make it available globally this time.

According to Lenovo CN, there is no card slot for this tablet…

Finally, they made the bezels symmetric. I would have bought the 2023 version if not for the asymmetry.

I wish the battery was 8000 mAh or so, but as long as it has battery bypass feature, it is OK.

If only the real thing has a micro sd slot like this page says...
