Just bought this phone. Overall im impressed with its features and performance.
The only things lacking for me are the camera and the stock theme.
Camera produces edgy curves and blurry photos when compared with Huawei ascend P1 phone that I own.
Stock theme lacks app drawer so you're forced to move all unused app icons into folders.
Gaming performance is outstanding in this phone price range.
Phone battery is decent without power saving enabled and with power saving enabled it's excellent.
Display is very clear, navigation is very responsive. In strong sunlight screen backlight performa ver good.
Builtin speakers are strong even on minimal settings. Bass is lacking a bit.

I had my Xperia T stolen so I went looking for a new phone. Since I was on a budget of about 250€ P70 looked like a nice option. After using it for a couple of days this my experience. It doesn't lag... I don't play demanding games, but I was running Mobile Observatory live view and had no lag at all. Sound quality is decent, screen is decent but could be sharper, sound during a call is lauder then the Sony but not as clean. I really like the handling of the phone. It comes with a back cover that is non slippery rubbery like. This is truly a midrange phone in almost every aspect. So if that is what you are looking for I would highly recommended it. Two things I would say that you might have to get used to. The flat Apple like interface. I prefer having an app drawer. Second is actually battery drain. Sony has Stamina Mode and when leaving a phone over night I would loose maybe 2% of battery. This thing is constantly synchronizing and I lost 13% over night. They have battery saving mode that works a little strange. They could make it so that it activates every time the screen is turned off and deactivate when the phone unlocks. That would save a lot of energy. But for a phone that never really sleeps the battery does last a long time.

you have to go for the P70-A , 2gb ram, 16gb rom if you like to have this device.
