this is an extended hands on for lenovo P70-A:
# OS: android kitkat 4.4.4
( official UPGRADE to android v. 5.0 lollipop will be available on 2nd quarter as per their website )
#dual STANDBY sim: ( NOT active )
sim 1 : 2g,3g,4g
sim 2 : ONLY 2g
# display: nice HD display with cool brightness and auto brightness.
# performance : smooth, powerful and looks very good. handle games pretty well with no lagg at all. ( game tested is Asphalt 8)
Antutu maximum score is 44,935
# heat : didnt encounter any heat during normal use ( watching , surfing or charging ) but sure will heat a bit during continuous heavy games play.
# battery : great battery life. and fast charging.
About 8HRS of working 4G network, + 9HRS of working wifi ( must of the time screen was off )+ normal use of watching, surfing . Total is over 24HRS of full charge and the remained battery is 20% !
im quite amazed!!
#camera: performance is not so good but is not so bad.the software needs to be improved with update.
#OTG supported. ( OTG cable included )
# led notification included.
# screen capture : built-in with the notification bar. easy to use.
# falsh light: built-in with the notification bar.
# double knock to open screen.
# double tap home button ( while screen is off ) to snap pictures.
and a few more features such like scheduled power on & off, smart scenes, shake lock ( to turn off the screen), and wide touch ( one touch shortcut access ) .
the lenovo P70-A is a great value for money !!

jhuneray, 23 Mar 2015Normally the set up for internet will be save once you inse... moreI tried to set it manually but I could not activate the APN even if I try to coonect to data connection. The service provider has send me a message that lenovo p70 can not be set up and I should call customer care but till now can not be used to connect internet by using SIM card in this phone.

you will not feel the device is cheap in look or handle.
the device is an excellent deal for the offered price.

i forgot to mention that you can set sim 1 on 3G or 2G only.
but not for 4G. 4G option set as auto.

i bought this handset 10 days ago is only dual standby not dual activ the baterry goes almost one day of intense use,the touchscreen is not so senzitive it has two speaker grills but only one speaker,anyway you need to upgrade almost everything the lenovo software inside the box is only basic overall is a good phone whith good signal and sound during calls in antutu benchmark scores 44000 and 44400 so is better then others expensive handsets

I bought before one Week
1. Wifi some time stop & will not work until go to setting.
2. Ringing volume dose not work during the incoming call.
3. only one speaker wokring of left side second right speaker is not working or may be just dummy holes.
4. very less built in ringtown diffcult to choose unless download through APPS

as well it seems that you cant set sim 1 network on 4g only as per the official settings of p70-A. maybe you can if you installed a custom ROM.

I just bought my P70 yesterday Riyadh, a beautiful phone indeed, nice screen, battery, no lag, dual Sim w/ SD card slot phone,for a look low price... the camera is only not so impressive its a bit fuzzy, but with good lighting its pretty decent, but I guess/I hope maybe it can be more better after updates...
