I got problems in contacts.. When ever I want to call any one I get msg like downloading contacts later it gets stuck and I get popup saying contact manager not responding. I have reset the set twice in service centre but still facing same problem in contacts as well as massage.. Plz help

My Lenovo P-70 was updated to lollipop (sadly) then I started facing lots of problems, one of which, is that the phone sound profile turns to Meeting settings on its own, i.e. becomes silent with vibrate only.
any solution ?

I've done resetting my phone and deleting the DRM license but the problem of duplication is still there after rebooting your phone. anyway i'll try again by deleting the DRM licenses first then factory data reset. I'll post if once then with the result.
By the way, was your problem solved?

well, duplicate is coming back after I restarted my phone, seems the problem with launcher because it removes when i delete cached and etc on launcher.
any idea how to remove this annoying problem?

I have experienced like you as well folks, battery issues, useless camera, useless torch, etc. Try deleting the DRM licenses on your phone and factory data reset. Settings>Back and Reset>DRM license, Factory Data Reset. Make sure to back up all your files. You can thank me later.

I did upgrade my p70 to lollipop . it sucks . some apps cannot function well . now im going to reset factory setting .

Hi,
The default write disk option to Micro SD is not working, even after selecting to microSD the downloaded data is going to internal storage. This is happening after the update to Lolipop 5.1.
Can anyone explain how to fix it? Or should we wait for next update? Don't know wheather Lenovo team know about this serious bug or not. It seems Lenovo is very slow in doing updates and solving problems. Hearing Lenovo......... do somthing..

So I did delete DRM licenses & factory reset this will solve the duplicate? if yes should i start from DRM then factory reset or?

I've just finished clearing data & cached... moreOf course factory reset will fix the problem, but clearing data and cache was a quicker solution.
Don't make factory reset until you back up your contacts, pictures, programs backup like whatsapp messages because all of this will be permanently deleted (take care).
It will be approximately a new phone

I'm having issues wit... moreI'm not sure but I really have no issues with camera now, and for fast drain of battery, I just downloaded and install few programs which is very necessary for me and I neglected other programs that I rarely use, also for better battery life I made disable for many programs that already enabled by default lollipop installation which I don't need (using apps panel through setting)

[deleted post]Hi mentex, for duplicate icons of applications only you don't need to do factory reset, just you can clear data and clear cache from launcher at app setting, this will give you clean icon registration.
After I did clean factory reset I got duplicated icons again after few days (disappointing), so I had to make clear data and cache of launcher
