Does anybody know how to solve time zone problem with Lollipop update ???I updated my phone yesterday to Lollipop , I am in India(GMT+5:30) but the time on my device is of Gulf(GMT+4:00) .... I tried almost everything in settings but all in vain
please help

worst phone.. 2 months after buying it started switching off on itz own and gives a lot of trouble getting it on again.. wifi bluetooth..xsender..shareit..nothing works on it.. i showed it to service centre..dey told itz software complaint and did something to it. for 1 day everything was perfect..again back to previous problems.. fed up with d phone..lost 15k

Review of lenovo p70 lolipop 5.1 update:
~positive things:
- run very fast
- nice interface
- sound quality improves
- no battery drainage issue
- battery usage graph available
~negative things:
- double tap & shake off feautures gone
- doesn't move apps to sd card

even I cant download the contacts f... moreI am facing same problem, since update I am not able to see contact, even call register is blank.
On supported cloud app, I uploaded the contact but unable to retrieve... now I'm contact less.
Any idea on how to retrieve contact...

new update is reall very bad some things like wifi is disconnected when i turn off my screen and wifi is connected on when i unlock phone tried factory reset and all not effect at all pls solve it

Will I get it with future updates from lenovo.
Because the phone is same as a low budget phone line a6000 or a7000

As long as you have the right ROM download and do the firmware upgrade, it should do a clean flash. I did it for the first time myself, simply by looking at youtube tutorials. The first time booting up can take a bit longer but no need to panic. If somehow your phone gets soft bricked, just flash again.

My opinion.
Pros:
-Great new animations
-Aesthetically pleasing and the visual qualities have a premium touch to them
-Sound quality, for me, has improved
-Camera seems better, although I was satisfied with it even before the upgrade.
-Moving stuff between SD card and internal storage using file managers is now possible
-screen recording! (Use az screen recorder from playstore)
-Performance, particularly in games, is now even better than before
-Lock screen does not look outdated any more
-Finally, tons more developer options. (Press build no. 7 times in settings>about phone to unlock)
Con's:
-WiFi turns off when screen turns off(seriously lenovo?)
-Important built in features like double tap to unlock screen have been removed which leads to people resorting to 3rd party apps with more ram and battery consumption
-Stock weather widget removed
-Changing lock screen wallpaper is not available anymore
-Settings in notification bat have been reduced
Neutral:
-Battery life is almost the same as before
-You can access all quick settings without passing your lock screen(pattern unlock etc) which is pretty useful for oneself but not so useful if you're getting pranked by someone(they could, or anyone you yourself could turn on data connection and waste your balance)
Overall rating w/ verdict : 8.5/10
•If you're happy with KitKat, and face no problems,stay with KitKat. However, if you want a better feel, get many problems with KitKat fixed, at the expense of less (but major) bugs as well,this update is for you.

Hey friends i m mayank from india n i saw reviews i m also facing the same problems this new lollypop update is full f trash all my main features r gone like double tap theme menu shake functions n many more i suggest yu to stay on kitkat dont upgrade it dosent enhanches yur battery performance niether......
