this is 512mb ram only? i rather choose lenovo p700 which has 1gb ram!

Originally FM TRANSMITTER is there in the CHINESE firmware version of Lenovo P700i which are being sold in tyhe SOuth east Asian and Asian Pacific nations like China,Vietnam, Phillipines ,Indonesia,etc and some other nations where lenovo release this phone like Russia.
But what we have in India, we have FM transmitter in the phone , but firmware doen't supports it.
Secondly, I play RF 2012(real football) ,RF 2013 and even bigger games like MAX PAYNE(game size 1.3 GB) with ease and without any hinder,
Temple run. Agent Dash, Ducati etc. games which loads around 40-50 MB only run fluidly along with many apps running sideways.

The quest. you have, I am playing RF 2012(real football) ,RF 2013 and even bigger games like MAX PAYNE with ease and without any hinder,
Temple run etc. games which loads around 40-50 MB only and apps that You asked for like maps, youtube etc. they dont even have any debate because they runs fluidly along with many apps running sideways.
When you look upon the 500 MB RAM's usage u will find only 50-60MB available(that is because of the android system apps and other essentials) , but actually what happens is the Android system allocates memory to the apps you run and other system apps are CACHED.
Thus if I load a 250mb game (like RF 2012) again I will see the free RAM is 40-60 mb.
SO there is no problem, go for this phone.

Wanted to know whether with 500 MB of RAM can we run applications like Google maps, Facebook, twitter, You tube without any issues?

Anyone have comments about the new 'S109' firmware update. What improvements have been made? Anyone using it? Still wondering whether to risk updating! Strange Lenovo haven't made any release notes etc for this new P700i firmware

Why does this phone not show on Lenovo Website... GSM arena says that the phone has a FM Transmitter, can anyone already using this phone confirm? Thephone is not available even in big stores like CROMA... whats with this phone.... with the spec.s it offers it was supposed to sweep the markets but hasn't even figured up.... How about the gaming on phone like Temple Run, Subway Surfer, Dead Mafia etc.

I am using it for more than 1 month. It is good in its price range. Beautiful screen, camera really is not bad, decent sound with good earphone. Battery was not what I expected but really comfortable enough in one day.

But RCOM and lenovo Launch the new 5 andriod that come on CDMA+GSM base or slot. I search many of website for cdma and i want it.! that i can use my reliance cdma card on it for life time.

P700i supports two GSM sims only.
Out of the two GSM connection one is of 3G and one is of 2G.
WCDMA is another term for 3G.

The music player preloaded in the phone is not having colour contrast in its pages, unable to read some pop up list and select.
And also unable to stop the player

My battery becomes 100 to 36% with in 17hrs.
With only 3hrs30min use of Net and 14min call(total 7min incoming and 7min out going)
And also 1% reduction of battery for every one hour of idle condition(when data connection is off)
Is it okay for this phone which has a 2500mAh battery or my particular phone do have any problem?
