piku, 18 May 2014I ordered it from flipkart , the magic cover is that given ... moreDear piku I have purchased it from a local shop for rs.13000. The magic cover come within the package along with the handset. The external speaker is good enough but not too loud . the earphones are cheap in quality so you have to purchase a good quality earphone set. Through earphones the sound is decent. You will get an update after first boot. Don't update your phone because the update is buggy. So wait for future developments. Apart from this small issues the performance is brilliant. Share your opinion about the device after using it.

You have to keep game data in internal memory otherwise it will not open. I have mailed to lenovo regarding this issue & requested for a software update. Don't update your phone with latest firmware which is 103 mb file & try that default write disk option, choose SD card & see what is happening.

I just got this one 2 days ago in vietnam for 230 usd, a little more pricey than my previous P770. The metallic design under a magic cover is nice enough. However I have some troubles using it (with having updated to latest version, and no root):
- LED light: I tried to disable every led notification,even with a third party app but it keeps blinking!! How to fix it?
- No menu?! everything appears on homepages. thats weird
- Auto brightness is not working properly
- battery drains in 1.5 days, less than 3500mah-P770 (2 days). I think its about calibration right? need more time for the battery to be calibrated?
- Whats the app on PC to go with Lenovo Mobile Assistant? I cannot find it on the internet
Anyone can help? thanks

Bought this phone yesterday.
This is a great budget phone.
-Battery life is amazing.
-Touch is good.
-Camera is descent.
-Overall design is good
-App can be moved to external SD card (you can set default storage location as SD card from 'Storage' settings)
-Sound is also descent. You will have to use third party earphones as ear phones provided with the box are of low quality.
Yet to find any con :-)

james, 17 May 2014what do you mean by default write disk..There are two options under storage ( default write disk) 1. Phone storage. 2. SD card . you can choose your default write disk sd card then all media content will be stored in sd card.

Anonymous, 17 May 2014Im really keen to buy this phn , so if any one can tell me ... moreI am getting 7-8 hours hours in constant 3g mode . youcan get maximum 9 hours by lowering the brightness. I think it is good for daily usage. Moderate user can get 1.5- 2 days backup with minimum usage.
The rear camera performance is very good & suprisingly the flash is too good. You will get decent results in lowlight conditions. You can record both 720p& 1080 p videos but it will be saved in 3gp format. The front camera is very poor but ok for skype & video calling.
my device got 63.9 fps in nenamark 2 & 17400+ score in Antutu benchmark test so you can play most of the games without any issue.
The screen is ips grade & the viewing angles are extremely good & also the touch is too responsive.
Build quality is very good. With the free magic cover it looks very elegant.
Dont think twice just go for it.
