Anonymous, 16 May 2014my lenovo s920 keep on vibrating everytime a message is rec... morei am also experiencing this same kind of problem.. for the audio settings, i chose general..all vibration settings were turned off but still everytime i received an sms it still vibrates and there are some instances wherein there is no sms alert(sound) whenever sms was received,it just vibrates..how to resolve this?

... moreYou are wrong, Lenovo has upgraded phones with Mediatek MT6589, MT6582, MT6592 to Kitkat 4.4.2 including Lenovo S920.
So you better ask why all the other manufacturers doesn't upgrade their Mediatek phones to Kitkat.

2)yup,you can do it,but do on your own risk
3)since your s920 is AP set,means there is no warranty(except the retail shop's warranty)
4)AP set is same with ORI set, but AP set mostly is other country version,then seller import them to your country and sell
5)no idea
6)i thinks you will never get kitkat update,since it powered by mediatek soc.

Trying to get a S920 AP set(blue colour), but few questions bothered me.. Hope you guys can help!..
1. Will there be any risk for rooting the AP S920?
2. I heard that after rooting the phone, I can customize the ROM? ( the chinese ROM to english ROM )
3. After rooted the phone, will the warranty stopped?
4. Err.. Is AP S920 good?? Din buy any AP phone before.. I read the comments, it feels like the phone is still not stable yet, software probs, charging probs, etc..
5. What price is S920 AP set now??
6. Can the phone upgrade to android v4.4?

I have a Lenovo s920.I use this phone 4 months.this phone is very perfect and usually normal.Camera is a big result.bettery support is long time and I like that.video quality sower every faintest .....
