I shattered the screen accidentally by sitting on it 🤪. Otherwise I probably would have had it for another few years.

Just bought this in January 2022, never had a tablet before.
Thought it was a good deal, dual/stereo speakers, 3gb ram.
Been using this tablet a few days, it's still is a good deal for a tablet starter for me.
Pros : comes with Android 9 but not Lenovo os, instead I got lineage os. Lineage os is closer to stock Android. Dual/stereo speakers. Not lagging so far, considering it's nearly 5 years old device. Good enough for media consumption.
Cons : dual speakers not loud enough, thanks to the lack of Dolby Atmos app which was removed thanks to lineage os. AudioFX that comes with lineage os weren't able to compensate. I tried the good old downloading Google play music first and installing Dolby Atmos app second, but it didn't work out.
Instead I had to download another equalizer app which also not able to hold a candle against Dolby Atmos. In other words, it sounded fake.

Bought this in 2018 new, AFTER UPDATES HAVEING problems with downloading apps from play store, takes ages to update, I hardly used it, I went back to previous play store still sucks, Android 6.1 Marshmallow. Total rubbish. Really disappointed
.

Awesome, especially once Lineage is installed to get closer to stock Android.

The tablet has the best processor and battery consumption. It is perfect in every aspect except the bug that lenovo never fixed it properly. To be more specific I bought the same tablet twice, at the first one I never made an update and it works fine, at the second one I decided to run the more recent updates 10 months ago. After that big mistake there was a problem with google play, it was taking a lot of time to download a program and sometimes it didn't downloaded at all. The only solution that period of time was to restart it every time and for every download or update I wanted at googleplay. Some months later even this solution didn't work. I decided to run again the most recent update of the tablet software and that specific moment the tablet freezed on the update screen. I had to do a format to solve the problem, after that the tablet functioned perfect until a few months recently, the tablet made a little slow and again problem with google play. I made again format and I for now on I do not save anything locally only to the cloud. Lenovo should be more careful and supportive to this piece of art because it has huge capabilities. i use it for my work; email, charters, data sheets, market search, etc. and for entertainment; movies, music and a lot of gaming and it has no problem at all, except this stupid bugs which is really annoying. If you keep the periodic format process you can keep functions at the higher performance. Last but not least, it has perfect camera and the power consumption is very fair, with continuous gaming it last almost a day. Also it has fast charge and it never gets hot even if I charge it and play games at the same time, it is the only device I trust to do this.

I've succesfully flashed TWRP (thanks to the xda) and Lineage OS. It's far superior than the original rom.

For anybody who is even briefly considering this product I advise to flush the money down the toilet because the value will be the same.
1. From the day i bought this tablet its flashing that a software update is required. Each time i tried to update it the tablet froze and the only option was to restore it to factory settings and loose all data already stored in the device.
2. Absolutely no support from the manufacturer. I have tried all possible means of contacting this pathetic company to no avail.
3. Without the updates the tablet lags,is slow,even drawing a patterm for unlocking takes ages,it does not connect to half of the available wifis and many other flaws.
Summary: i have paid around 150 euros for absolutely worthless product and i will do my best to convince as many people as I can not buy any products from Lenovo because its a scam.

I bought this tablet for my mother. At first I was satisfied. Later on, after few updates , some of application that I can used before no longer compatible with the device. To be clear, the apps are whatsapp and few other apps. It keeps saying "unfortunately the (apps name) has stopped." I've tried many ways including factory setting yet I failed.

For 3G it supports WCDMA B1 2100MHz,WCDMA B2 1900MHz,WCDMA B5 850MHz,WCDMA B8 900MHz, TD-SCDMA: TD-SCDMA B34/B39
For 4G it only supports B1 2100MHz, B3 1800MHz,TDD B38 2600MHz,TDD B39 1900MHz,TDD B40 2300MHz,TDD B41 2500MHz
Do your operators use them? If not, you'll go 2G only.

My Lenovo Tab3 8Plus gets 3G all the time and it also works very well with DJI Go to operate a Mavic Pro --- Gyro ---

Hi, i bought the Lenovo Tab 3 8 plus 3G/LTE (TB-8703X) and it doesn´t give me 3g only 2g, I'm in Mexico and the bands my company use are: B2 / 1900 MHz. B5 / 850 MHz. What can I do?

Hi guys, I recetly bought this tablet from gear best. Everything working fine except no 3g signal. I tried everything, swapping sim cards, manually searching for 3g networks with no luck. It sticks to 2g signal without showing 3g signal even when manually searched. Is there any solution please?
