striker_o, 13 Jan 2019Using this tablet since 3,5 years and still holding perfect... moreUpdate after many years

So, after all those years this tablet is still in my hands. Now I use it as a epub reader most of the time and for basic internet surfing and telegram.

It is still going on well , battery goes very long time in case of light use ( read, browse )

Of course many apps are not exsist for it anymore and remaining ones can not be updated. Still it does what I want from it. Let's see if it will manage to survive another 4-5 years under light use :)

According to AIDA64, the refresh rate of the screen is 93Hz. If true, not bad at all for such kind of basic device.

                      Upgraded to android 5.0
The device runs more smoothly, some apps open up faster and the ability to download other apps as well.
But, charging the battery takes a lot of time after the update, wonder if it's just the device getting old or because of the update.

This tablet is 4.5 years old right now..I have it since summer 2015. I think it held up extremely well through the years, considering it war only 75 euros brand new. Mine is running on ''debloated'' stock android 5.0,rooted. I found this software in website ''xda'' and installed it through a pc with program ''sp flash tools''. It runs better than original lenovo software and has more free space. Overall it is still a good tablet if you find it for a reasonable price, maybe around 25-30 euros. My battery is also still very good, nearly as good as it was when I got the tablet 4 years ago, which I find very impressive.

Okay, so I've had this phone since it came out and literally, it's been lagging since then. The keyboard is very unresponsive, it takes ages to load apps, and of course, it doesn't have a rear camera, which I really needed by that time! I mean, the tablet is fine, but still not the best. Also, I'm kind of having struggles with Wi-Fi. It can't connect to the Wi-Fi properly when I hold it horizontally. That definitely sucks. Not quite sure because I broke the top of the screen.. Please let me know if breaking the top of the screen is the cause of it not being able to catch Wi-Fi signal. :(

This is good tablet. If you have problems with laggy lollipop (as i had) , you need to power off tablet.
Then. Press both volume buttons (volume + and volume - ) and then (while you are still pressing vol +, - ) press power button.
When it shows logo, stop pressing power button (you press power button because you need to turn it on), but keep pressing vol + and - , and when something appears on screen , release volume keys.

Good, now, don't panic. Because it says "No Command" on the screen.
We are trying to enter in recovery mode (yes, it have recovery).

To enter in recovery mode, (to pass throught "No Command" screen) you need to press volume up ( + ) button, and while you are holding volume up button just press power button for 1-2 seconds.
Don't hold power button too long because it will restart.
Hold volume up and then power button until you see something else on the screen (that takes as i say, 1-2 seconds).

Now, you are in recovery mode.
Don't be afraid of weird colors that scares you.

You need to click option " wipe data/ factory reset " in recovery.
To go down or up, use volume up and volume down.
To click on that option , you need to go down with volume down ( " wipe data/ factory reset " to be highlighted with blue) and then press power button to click it.

Then, you will have question "are you sure you want to wipe all data" , and go down to " Yes ".
Then, it will reset your tablet to factory reset.

This time, when you boot up tablet, lollipop wont be buggy anymore.
And if you didnt noticed, now you will have 4 GB free memory, (system will take 2.5 GB).
But before cleaning tablet this way, system used up to 4 gb.
Which means that when you updated lollipop, system didnt owerwrited kitkat (to delete it so it can update to lollipop) , and kitkat caused all sorts off lag in lollipop, because it's not clean.
                                It's called dirty install.
You cant do nothing about that, just to do as i described above after you upgrade to lollipop.
And, yes, make sure you backup all your data.

Using this tablet since 3,5 years and still holding perfectly. Battery life is amazing. I can also still play many games , even recent ones which are demanding like Asphalt 7. The only bad side is, it's internal memory is only 8Gb and no more OS update after Android 5. For the price and durability, it has excellent value. Due to this, probably my next smartphone or tablet will be Lenovo too.

This comes with a little adware so you have to dig a little to remove it. Afterwards, add it to a Mobile Device Management solution like Zoho's ManageEngine MDM, Cisco's Meraki or Airwatch by VMware so you can lock it up into something such as a custom website for automation. It has a front-facing loudspeaker with in companionship with apps like Grandstream Wave or Acrobits Groundwire make it a perfect huge-screened VoIP phone rivalling the most expensive by brands such as Cisco and Moimstone, WPA2 Enterprise lets you hop quickly between APs without losing the call. Volume controls are finicky and the tablets a little too big, but that's if you're using it only as a phone really.

I'm not really sure how much the battery lasts 'cause the device is usually plugged in with a long cable but when it's not, it has the longest period possible to turn off the screen or probably not even set at all because it's always on and the digitizer calibration is not the best nor the most responsive, quite frankly it sometimes feels as if it were a resistive touchscreen instead of the capacitive device it supposedly is, but then again, so the most expensive touchscreen automation remotes and/or VoIP phones.

Plus, it's pretty sturdy since it's not much more than cheap plastics, no glass and with a price tag that you barely notice, it at all. You can have one for every area you could think of with spares to match; though I wouldn't recommend it because of battery degradation in general.
