I just had Android 14 (sept 2024)! The internet connection problem is now solved! Everything runs smoothly, the screen is soft compared to the p11 gen1. I have freezes but have a lot of tabs opened and it might be due to the 4g ram. The redmi pad pro is better though if you mind the bigger screen.
PS: yeah I was also shocked by the tiny font at the opening but we can customize in settings (while using split screen or floating windows to see the effect directly)

I think this is the best tablet in price range about 200 eur. Battery life is good, for me 7-9 hours of screen on time, display is great, SOC is slower but its 200 eur tablet, so for normal games and apps its ok. If u wanna play Genshin impact or PUBG on high detail,..maybe try LENOVO LEGION tab

Absolutely hate this tablet. Whoever designed it needs to be fired. The fonts are microscopicly small. I would say the largest font is equivalent to the smallest font on the iPad Air (my previous tablet).

Also the camera is on the side of the tablet which although kind of different is fine unless you want to use the case in which case the camera is on the bottom of the tablet. Terrible design.

I was also surprised I couldn't load typical apps like banking apps for some reason.

You pretty much have to use the pen for everything because the touch doesn't seem to work very well with just your finger.

Not sure if it is because of the high definition or what, not that you can change that, but it is a horrible experience to try and read anything on this tablet. As long as all your reading is online you should be fine but emails or even fonts on the tablet itself are terrible.

It is super cheap, which I guess tells you something, it has substantial weight and feels good quality. The sound is alright. Just not an enjoyable experience at all in my opinion.

If you have amazing eyes and don't mind straining when you read emails and want to save money while still getting a decent tablet then this is the tablet for you.

They are few features who makes the difference, one of them is the permanent TASKBAR. If you search with google, you'll find out https://developer.android.com/about/versions/12/12L/summary. Anyway, don't get your hopes up too much with Lenovo's system updates/upgrades, it's typical for them, and sometimes it's better that it doesn't exist, there are owners of other models who complain that the updates have changed the use of tablets for the worse. I don't mind if the tablet continues to work as well without any updates.

Hi I'm the one posted a good review on 14th.
now on 16th my tab has a white line on the screen.
(the same colour line issue we saw on Samsung led displays).
I think its of poor quality or something.
I used the tab only at home during this short time. but.... sad...

I would caution you against this.
check the user reviews on Amazon and Flipkart. Serious display issue. most between 4th day and 20th day. means second and third week after first use.
I bought it on 10th from Amazon.
by 15th I got a white line flickering on top, across the display.
requested for return and awaiting the process.
                            such hassle and headache now.

then only I saw the review in detail.
many have reported that complaint. This P11 Gen 2 and M10FHD. both...

                              Friends.
I write this because reviews for this Lenovo p11 Gen 2 is so so rare to find.
During this GI Sale of Amazon, I purchased 3 tablets; 1. Lenovo M9-LTE at INR 12.5k, 2. Lenovo P11 Gen 2- LTE at INR 19k, and 3. Realme Pad 2 -LTE at INR 17k.
My plan was to keep 2 of these (for me and my spouse) and return the other one for a refund.
I found the M9 with 9-inch screen exceptionally good. The speakers are awesome. Usability is great with 9-inch screen. So I keep it.
Realme Pad 2 is more of an entertainment tab. Pad 2 has much better speakers with good detail and quality. better bass also.
The screen gives the same experience in both. But for office use (doc editing, video conference, email, browsing, Book reading) P11 Gen 2 is better, with stylus support and a Productivity Mode. I feel the viewing angle also is slightly better in P11 Gen 2. P11 Gen 2 also gets a built-in keyboard connector-pin which is good. But colout rendition is quite similar in both.
Pad 2 comes better in sound output, battery (lasts a bit longer), charging (faster), and mobile syncing (especially with BBK brands like Oneplus, Oppo, Realme).
Look and feel - better in Lenovo P11 Gen 2. (though Pad 2 is equally well-built, and no complaints about it. Only that I personally feel the P11 is a bit nicer and softer to touch.)

                              So my conclusion:
If office use is primary and you don't mind speaker-output - go for Lenovo P11 Gen 2.
If your priority is Media (movie and music) - go for Realme Pad 2.

In any case, for a compact affordable tab, for a mixture of casual office and media, or as an additional device to casually complement the gap between a mobile and laptop - go for Lenovo M9-LTE.

                              thanks.

Note: I kept Lenovo p11 Gen 2 and M9. Returned Pad 2. because my primary use is Office and reading books.

I think because Lenovo is not going for paid promotions via these review-channels. at the end of the day all these reviews are business.. May be that. but it is a good tablet. bought at 19k rupees from Amazon

Pizza, 07 Oct 2023Has it been updated to android 13? Any word on that?Lenovo's IPS LCD is 100% better. First of all the comparison is between TFT in Samsung and IPS LCD in Lenovo. So it is not even a competition there. In real life: Lenovo will give better viewing angles, better color reproduction, vivid colours, 120Hz refresh rate.

Pizza, 07 Oct 2023Has it been updated to android 13? Any word on that?No upgradations yet. (14 Oct 2023). but it gets security updates. latest Sept. 2023.
But it won't get direct 13 or 14.
it comes with Android 12 L. (L for large screen). So it should get 13L or 14L or the normal 14 should be 'swappable'. As of now Google is not developing the L versions of Android. But they may make 13 or 14 swappable.. So.... uncertain.
But security updates- Yes you get it on a regular basis.
