I'm in the UK, likely more expensive at £340 but have been keeping an eye on the price (direct from Lenovo), it has been changing a lot so jumped at the price when it dropped.

Bought the 4GB version of this Tab P11 Pro Gen 2 a couple of months ago on sale for $229 to replace my Samsung Tab S6. It totally outperforms my old Samsung tablet in many ways. There are no bloatwares and the quad speakers sounds much cleaner and louder than the Samsung's.

Don't buy this if you are hoping for Lenovo to get around to actually updating Android on it. As of June 20 2023, the version of Android is Android 12, with March 5, 2023 Security updates and the May 1, 2023 Google Play updates. They can't even keep the security updates going much less Android 13 or 14. I really want to return this thing.

It "disk swaps" everything so you can't hold a web site open and go look in say your password manager to get the password. When you come back, the page is refreshed. Having Microsoft Teams in the background will disconnect you from meetings if you do anything else.

I have it for a couple of weeks now - the version with keyboatd and stylus included and 8 gb ram.i use it for browsing and YouTube. It's great, the display is very nice, easy to read. It's fast and has enough resources to handle 4k YouTube videos.

DaneLaw by a GSM sig, 07 Feb 2023sure as you love running around with your 11.2" tablet... moreLmao. The usb-c should be limited to charging and/or data transfer. Why wear them out with a silly dongle? People not only survived using wired headsets until today, they also have the choice of using BT headsets even on phones with 3.5mm port.

Why mald over the existence of a port that won't affect your BT headset? And on a product you ain't gonna buy anyways.

YUKI93, 29 Apr 2023I don't own this tablet, buy my current phone is an LG... moreYeah, you're right there, but it depends how well optimized the system is. If it's badly optimized, well, if you've got 6GB if RAM and the system is using 5, that's only 1GB leftover. With Asus's Zenfone 8 series, in early software after launch the 16GB configuration would use like 9GB of RAM in the background. At which point why even have 16GB of RAM. Most phones would have the same amount free with 12GB of RAM.

PhoneFreak45, 11 Apr 2023How is 6GB of RAM on this tablet? My current phone has 8, a... moreI don't own this tablet, buy my current phone is an LG V50 that has 6GB RAM and four-year-old Snapdragon 855 SoC. It's still doing solid work just fine, especially when playing AetherSX2 emulator and using Screen+ Desktop Mode. For me, 6GB RAM is fine as long as you have a powerful SoC in the first place. There's no point giving 8GB or 12GB RAM if the SoC is not powerful enough for everyday multitasking.

The more I look at this tablet, the more I'm tempted by its value-for-money proposition. $340 for 6/128 with LTE connectivity, microSD card support, and USB3 with wired video output capability at Lenovo USA website? Colour me interested. The only thing missing from this tablet is a 3.5mm audio jack. The Kompanio 1300T SoC is still more than fine by me since it's basically a tablet version of the Dimensity 1200 and 1300, and they're both still a great smartphone SoC in 2023.

DaneLaw by a GSM sig, 07 Feb 2023sure as you love running around with your 11.2" tablet... moreJust so you know, adapters or dongles wears out the USB-C port faster. No such problem with the 3.5mm audio jack itself.

How is 6GB of RAM on this tablet? My current phone has 8, and it's fast, but would 6GB be significantly worse? Love to know from anybody who's used both this tablet with 6GB of RAM and tablets or phones with 8GB.

DaneLaw by a GSM sig, 07 Feb 2023sure as you love running around with your 11.2" tablet... moreBecause yes, people only use wired headphones while running around... Totally. Generally if you're on the move you'd use a phone. Wireless headphones if you're okay with that, but wired if you prefer. That's such a silly excuse. It's about as bad as Apple's "courage" with the iPhone 7. So you don't use it. We don't care. Doesn't change that the headphone jack is a feature enjoyed by millions of people who don't buy company bs about why they removed it. It's because of people like you that we lost those features. I hope you feel proud of yourself. Something that doesn't impact you but benefits other people, and you have to make excuses about why you don't "need" it.
