Lenovo Vibe C2 is official and it's not the next Moto E

Kaloyan, 12 July, 2016

Today Lenovo Russia announced the Vibe C2, which was previously reported to be the placeholder for the next Moto E. As it turns out, Vibe C2 is a standalone smartphone and not intended to be a part of the Moto series.

The Vibe C2 was published on Lenovo Russia official website and will launch very soon in the country. And while the exact pricing and availability are yet to be announced, we have the full specs.

Lenovo Vibe C2 packs a 5" 720p display and runs on the MT6735P with a quad-core 1.0GHz Cortex-A53 processor, Mali-T720MP2 GP, and 1GB of RAM. The phone comes with 8 or 16 GB expandable internal storage and supports both LTE and dual-SIM connectivity.

The Vibe C2 packs an 8MP rear snapper, a 5MP front shooter, and is powered by a 2,750 mAh battery. It runs Android OS is 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Vibe UI and you can have it in Black or White.

We guess Lenovo will be launching the Vibe C2 in other markets as well, so we'll keep an eye for its official release date and pricing.
