A great piece of hardware let down by Lenovo's lack of software support give this was abandoned at Android 7. I flashed mine with the Lineage OS 18.1 so now running Android 11 quite happily.

Owned mine for 4 years too and use it mainly for streaming music, football etc (sharing the screen with my tv via Google Chromecast), reading ebooks, news etc and it has never let me down. The battery life is still amazing the screen is still crystal clear the sound from the 4 x JBL speakers is still amazing and the sound via headphones is excellent too. I have put a very high speed SanDisc 128GB microSDXC card in mine, which works seamlessly for storing photos, music and films (costs around £16 now) and would recommend to anybody wanting a bit more memory (which is portable and comes with an SD card adapter for using in computers etc that accept an SD card). For the £270.00 I paid for it I have had top quality service for 4 years

Still a great device mine is holding pretty well almost 4 years
Of course only use it for streaming and no more

QuaX, 30 Aug 2018I guess You should try LineageOS ROMThat is alright! Thanks! I managed to find the old nougat firmware and flashed it again. Now I am refusing to update because I do not use the camera and the system is much snappier with the first Nougat update. If no one informs us that there is a newer update wich fixes the battery, I won't upgrade any more. I can acceppt it as it is. The problem with the newer Lineage Roms ist that you can't get the Dolby Atmos app to work and you have to bear with Dolby Digital wich is not the same. Since I wach lots of movies from tablel when I'm in the kitchen I will stick to official for now. Anyway thanks, for the tip!

Unfortunately the Lenovo folks blew it with the new update. Everything seemed to be fine but the battery backup is drastically reduced now because the system is using too much resources wich was not the case at the former nougat update. I sure hope they will fix it soon because I begin to get very angry with them for doing such things as releasing half baked roms wich eventually destroy the user experience on this otherwise amazing tab.

for it tried to update and it is not available phoned lenovo and they confirmed nougat not
available for yoga tab 3 plus now going to return tablet gsm arena please update your information on this tablet
