Lenovo Z5 Pro to have 24 MP + 16 MP main dual camera

Yordan, 30 October 2018

Lenovo is introducing the flagship Z5 Pro in two days that will have a massive screen-to-body ratio and slider form factor similar to the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 and the Honor Magic 2. The company VP and former president of ZUK Chang Cheng introduced the main camera setup the device will have - dual AI snappers with 24 MP and 16 MP sensors.

The phone’s tagline is, roughly translated as “An Epochal Flagship” and it will have one of the most advanced cameras in a Lenovo smartphone. The 24 MP + 16 MP setup will have AI Super Night Mode scene and AI Video, according to Cheng who posted a teaser on Weibo.

The image also confirms there will be two selfie shooters in the slider, positioned on both sides of the speaker, while the proximity sensor will be slightly right from the camera setup. The teased photo on the image reveals clear details in low-light environment.

Although we are not sure if the image as real, the watermark in the lower left corner surely suggests the new Lenovo Z5 Pro will snap similarly vibrant images. All we have to do is wait until November 1 when the official event is taking place.

Look into the Mate 20 X. If you can get your hands on that and care about photography more than a slight speed boost, you have a better contender than 1+
