I don't play games at all, so maybe that's the difference. I tried all the customs roms out there, but it's always something. Either it's shitty camera, battery life or LTE or wifi doesn't work. Not to mention U-touch not working correctly. It's an absolute must when you try it once.
I like Indian Zui because while it lacks some chinese Zui customization, Gapps work as they should.

AnonD-179474, 03 Jul 2017Am I the only one who is getting less screen-on time(around... moreUnfortunately they're common issues of ZUI, that's why I replaced it with AEX ROM and now the phone works buttery smooth and fast and there are no overheating issues. Of course since AEX is based on AOSP it's close to stock Android and lacks the customization of Lineage OS based ROMs but it's highly stable.

Am I the only one who is getting less screen-on time(around 3.5 hours)?
Also, yes the phone does get heated some times. Even with World Cricket Championship, I see some lags and heat generated. Is this common?

I have to say it's a great phone for the price, the only downside is the factory ROM, I changed it ti Citrus CAF, because it wasn't the best, although it was usable. The screen could have better colors, and the camera could also be somewhat better. But for this price, I can't complain. Overall, I like it a lot. The build quality is great, and the battery lasts for 1.5 days if I don't use it to much, but it never dies before I get home anyway.

Well, after using this phone for about 3 months all I can say is WOW !!
Flagship grade performance at mid-range price. Every thing near perfect from smooth OS to long battery life. This is the first time I have bought a Lenovo phone and boy am I in debt to Lenovo or what !!

I play music through Bose speakers using Bluetooth I prefer z2plus rather than my iphone7 the sound out through z2 is amazing

Rumour of zuk closing down may be an another reason. But recently I've red that z3 is coming. Don't know that is true. But this one is great in performance.

I am looking through the comments and i am still not sure if it is good or bad phone ?
As i read somewhere...It is Android with some other OS or what ?
And i would like to know..How is the audio ? Is it loud or it is quite ?
To which phone you can compare this one with the audio and maybe camera ?
Back and front cameras on paper are good but how good are they actually ?

i think there is a lot of people out there saying the phone is great " only one the paper".
Here's the bias-free opinion of a guy who bought the phone 1 year ago:
Hardware:
-Fast. No need for more, it compares to the fatest devices on the market, and unless you're a round-the-clock gamer, you wouldn't feel a difference. I didn't when i tried on-display S galaxy S7. Smooth also. Software can also overclock (it's stable) the snapdragon 820 for more power, but it tends to heat the phone a bit.
-Screen is a masterpiece. And next to the average auto luminosity, the zui's one works well
-Fingerprint is soooooo fast. and never any problems with it if dry. if your hand is slightly wet then 90% times accurate, if soaked, then it doesn't work. You want this!!!!
-Camera works fine, but don't expect too much of it. Pics are great in bright day, but the camera struggle in the dark. Lot of options if you need them. about the 960FPS shooting...well, in fact the camera shoot 120FPS/720p at max (quite well already) and the rest is achieved through software (interpolation).
-Speakers are not as good as i'd want: in one word, average.
-connectivity is fine and works as it should even if i use it in France. Just check the 4G bands to be safe (800Mhz band IS accepted).
-the phone is strong enough to not have a scratch (i use a case and screen protect) when i have already broken a screen protect and a case from everyday use
-charger plug is not an EU plug, the provided adaptator is shitty, if you live in EU you'll need another one.
Software: (the bad- no, not bad, but less good- part)
-It's hard to change from ZUI to another OS, and you wouldn't do it, since it creates more problems that it solves.
-English or chinese ROM, maybe more languages in the future.... still the defaults apps will be in chinese. but these are copies of the common Gapps, so you don't need them...except those cases there is no chinese lost in the phone anywhere else.
-ZUI is quite ok for an OS, yes, even if it's no "pure" Android. there are minor issues, but it doesn't change anything about your everyday use, and i can count all the known issues on one hand.You'll get used to it in no time.
-Once every three month, i'm like: oh no my god! is there a lag/bug/issue??? but in fact there isn't (the biggest problem was solved by locking-unlocking the phone once)
To conlcude the phone is great for its value, but also awesome: when your (Iphone 6) friend will ask you how great is your phone, you can answer as great as yours, if not greater, but cheaper!!
