I have been using this phone for 5-6 months now. Its really worth for the price. As most low end phones, recent calls list and phonebook gets very slow when there are many entries.

Can someone pls tell me hows the signal, is it working fine? I'm afraid it would not work here in our place, coz we have limited signal.. (like 2bars)

Hello, i need some help with this phone.
I've managed to crash the lcd and all my phone numbers were stored in phone's memory. I need a blind-tutorial how to copy all numbers from phone to sim. I know that every menu and sub-menu corespondes to a key. For example the phonebook shortcut is: menu -> 2. If anyone can help me with some keys i'll be greatfull. Thank's in advance!

i got that phone a couple of days ago..no problems till now..both sims are active simultaneously..u can choose an icon for each sim card,and each sim with its call history logs is indicated with a different color(sim 1 green &sim 2 blue)..u can call or send messages from either sim u choose.
even though i think samsung E1182 is still better in terms of software with more features like active standby for example..A190 is better in terms of design,keypad,weight,wireless FM and torch light.
both handsets are almost with the same price here in Egypt.

got a new sim as old one was supposedly faulty
couldn't get sms after it sent at first but then wouldn't send or recieve properly or at all...handset fault or sim card?

Nice for long battery life, micro usb port for charging, quick charge time, 3.5 mm audio jack for headphones/mic.
But seems no possibility to customize it (wallpapers/sounds). Maybe the customization could be done with a "cooked" firmware. Does anyone know anything about this?

It seems the losing of network functionality is a common problem about this model.
LG people better release an update to fix that problem.

just bought this phone, i thinks it's best dual sim phone i ever have. Only need 1,5 hours to charge the battery (i can use my blackberry charger in this phone !!). With normal use, 2 sim active, call and text msg, it still on 5 days. Other nice things, I can use the radio without the head/earphone set. The bad things only some times the signal drop, but i think it happens with other dual simcard phone too.

It seems the connectivity losing problem is common to this model. LG people better release an update to fix that.

To make a call from SIM 2, scroll to the contact you want and select "options" -> "call via" -> "SIM 2".
