People believe that LG A290 is Apple iphone and can be replaced after 1year of use. Mind it only in India we have a longer shelf period for phones because people use it for like 3 to 5 years but to be frank even apple users in america get there phone replaced the very nexty launch,now apple acan do it for 20 k phone but it is impossible to expect cheaper phone s to be done with like that, also after using for 1 year

I bought one and it was wonderful. However the screen went completely blank suddenly after approximately 1 year use. I have used many LG phones before but never had this problem. Pity it is so difficult to get a replacement.

This is the best phone I have ever used. Superb battery back up, voice clarity & music play back. I am using 8GB in it. Very fast processor and smooth performance. Sim switching is also very nice. Awesome phone. Thanks LG.

Hi ! I m using A290 since 1 month. I could not load phone suit provided in data CD on my PC with windows 7 ultimate. So not able to backup my contacts etc. Phone suit for A290 is not available on LG website also. If anybody has some solution, pl. suggest. Or I have to scrap this phone.

Could anyone share if this phone can keep the second SIM card available when talking through the another one, actually what is the message caller is getting when calling on 1st SIM card while I talk thourgh second?
-if to each SIM card there is a separate Phonebook in the phone itself, can the two sim cards work with one and the same phonebook
-if can turn off one of the two SIM cards

I really satisfy on that model triple sims, I wihs LG can develop the smart phone with triple sims as well as long battery life for Asian market. Honestly, in the Asian market will be success with it. Cheer!!!!!!!!

for caller pic, just edit the picture with the in-built picture editor_ manual clip_reduce the picture to about 10 kb. then save it. next 'use' it as a caller picture _to selected contact_now u are done
