LG and Optus out dual-SIM LG Optimus L2 II for AU$99

02 October, 2013

LG is launching the second Optimus L2, inspiringly named... LG Optimus L2 II, with initial exclusivity on Aussie carrier Optus' pre-paid consumers. The price of the device will be AU$99 with a pre-paid SIM card and the device will be delivered in 3 to 5 business days.

The device will have its primary SIM slot locked to Optus, while the second SIM slot will only be good for GSM communication - meaning calls and texts. You can unlock the primary SIM by paying a AU$80 fee for pre-paid customers or AU$25 if you've been using Optus pre-paid services for at least 6 months.

The LG Optimus L2 II dual-SIM has a 3.2" IPS display of QVGA (240 x 320) resolution, runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and has a 3MP camera. It's still a single core device but LG is not saying anything about the chipset used.
