LG announces two new lifestyle projectors

LG is on a roll with its announcements heading into CES 2025 and the latest additions are a pair of lifestyle projectors. The PF600U is a floor lamp-sized LED projector that doubles as a Bluetooth speaker and an LED mood light. The CineBeam S (PU615U) is LG’s smallest 4K ultra-short throw (UST) projector and comes with Dolby Atmos stereo sound.

LG PF600U features an LED (RGBB) light source capable of 300 ANSI lumens brightness and FHD resolution. The projector boasts a 150,000:1 contrast ratio and can project 30 – 120-inch screen sizes with a 1.2 throw ratio. It supports HDR, HLG picture formats and auto-screen adjustments.

There’s a set of stereo speakers embedded in the body and HDMI, and USB Type-C ports. The software side is covered by webOS with support for wireless Android and iOS casting from devices.

CineBeam S (PU615U) is LG’s most compact 4K UST projector to date. It’s a 110 x 160 x 160mm box-shaped projector capable of beaming 40 – 100 inch pictures with a 0.25 throw ratio. CineBeam S is rated at 500 ANSI lumens and offers a 450,000:1 contrast ratio while supporting HDR 10 and HLG standards. It also boasts 154% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.

LG has not revealed pricing and availability for its new projectors just yet, so we’ll have to wait for CES to officially kick off on January 7 for more details.

Everything is correct but the problem is the projector screen size is 150 inches. We buy the projector for a big screen. The minimum projector display size should be 200 inches. The company should pay attention to this.

They started literally everything we have in today's mobile phones, first high res screen, ultrawide camera, dual and quad core processor, quad dac and then they destroyed themselves. Sad.
