LG brings the Aka mid-range smartphone to Taiwan

LG will offer the goofy AKA smartphone in Taiwan. The mid-range device has only been available in South Korea since its official debut.

Announced in November last year, LG Aka stands out from the hordes of mid-range devices thanks to its unique personality. The smartphone “keeps and eye on you” and tries to establish an emotional connection. The device is available in four different personalities.

The specs of LG Aka include 5” 720p display, 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, 1.5GB of RAM, and 16GB of expandable memory. You can find out more about the device from our CES hands-on.

LG Aka will be available in Taiwan on March 23 for $313. LG expects to move between 2,000 and 3,000 Aka units in Taiwan.
