Hmmm I bought this phone on the Internet last night for quite a good price considering. I should have in a week or two.
I hope that it works, especially after reading these comments.
Perhaps I should have stuck with Samsungs..
Also, it is really as big as it seems?? The phone, I mean.

I had that problem when I brought the phone. The solution is simple, it will only recognise picture size 96x96. for photo call and phonebook.

I love the phone!
My only question is how do you add a picture to a person in your phone book? Someone must know. Please help me!

This phone is budget, but da limited memory and the dual speakers are not powerful enough... But after all I still give this phone a passing mark!

Hi, My Wim XP does not recognize the phone as a USD drive. Mobile agent is so slow to transfer mp3 and you have to upload the songs one by one.
Is there any other way to do that without using mobile agent?

its a great fone i just wish it would work. but im glad (and pissed off) to hear its not nly mine that isnt working rite. instead of writing here and complaining about it we should do sumthing, email me if ur intrested in stirring up these id!ots who r not making up to scratch phones for us to se. we deserve the quality we r paying for. like i said email if ur interested.

i am using this mobile for the last 5 months,and i have experienced many problems with this cell.
1)It automatically shuts down....its magic
It shuts down whenever i make a call and at the sametime if someother person tries to call me at the sametime.
2)The software which is provided dosent work..god knows why?
All i want to say is a leading company like LG has produced a worst/garbage product.

I recently bought this phone..and the mp3 wont work! i have tried the CD and the Cable and all that but it won't tranfer anything into my phone! somebody please help me!

I am very PISSED OFF about this phone. Just bought it for two days, and the MP3 player can't fuction! Very PISSED off!

i bought the phone on last August and have problems on Dec. There are two problems. 1) the phone power off by itself. 2) the attenta receivign is normal but it can not receive or make any calls. i need to reset to resume service. I had personally submit the phone to LG support in Hong Kong for 5 times. they had performed program reset, cleaned the PCB, replaced the PCB and the last itme replaced the display unit. But the phone still has the problems every day. i went to the support center last week, and explained to them that casue me very trouble and requested them to commit the solution, but they didn't commit anything. i have totally no confidence on them and did not allow them to collect my phone. What should i do now?

Can anyone tell me how to access the software on the disc that comes with the phone as it appears to be only for PC's? Is there a drive for Macs anywhere??? The phone icon doesn't even appear on my desktop when I use the USB port to connect it.

I feel the phone needs some seriously level of software testing to be done. There are a lot of bugs (crashes) which cause the phone to re-start from time to time. Maybe LG needs to re-vist the functionality that the MP3 stops playing and restarts when a call is recieved. Such things are indeed trivial from the point of development and must be implemented.
This phone has a very good speaker system, but what makes it appaling is that inspite of such a good speaker system it does not provide an hands free operation for reciving and making calls.
Battery life is quite good considering the two color displays. Color rendering on the LCD is of High quality. The software package which comes with it is of the LOWEST quality known to mankind.
Overall the performance is something which one does not expect from a company like LG. They really need to give a good updrade for this and think about their future products to be inline with the general quality standards of companies like Nokia and Sony Erricson.

I fixed the problem guys!!
For me, i just have to restart my computer, and everything is fixed. Guys, u should try restarting computer after installation.
This phone is good because i love the LOUD speakers !!

Hey I just bought this phone yesterday, and I haf probs loading mp3s onto the phone.My XP com cannot detect the driver(s) for the phone and so even tho it shows as a removable drive itz space is 0kb and i cannot load anything!Pls help!

Yo! seahorse! this model is available in the philippine. Just thought you might want to know.It's an old model already obviuosly. It sells for around P9,000, I think.

Filipinos love to change their phones from time to time. That is why the cellphone market here is booming. However, we only have fewer variety of phones to choose from. Most of the available units are Nokia, SonyEricsson and Samsung.

I brought my F1200 phone in Hong Kong, and they only had silver or black. So I choose black. Don't know about the colours for Australia.
