Hey, well my handsfree was not functioning properly so i went to the LG service center and it is been 15 days and i have no response from them .really the Customer Serive is equally bad as the phone which has the worst MP3 effect and even a gud song sounds bad...THANK GOD they have stopped the production of this piece..And if ne LG offfical is reading this , please look after the customer service when the cell gives trouble. i ahve been without a handsfree for more than 15 days (by the way it a mp3 phone.!!!!)...neways,if ne1 has ne idea of the cust service and ther person who needs to be contacted , please let me kwn..thanx.

Very impressed with the mp3 sound quality of the phone. Transferring mp3/photos is a breeze with win xp, for win 98 u need the drivers from wowlg.com. Good sound recorder, can also record phone converation ! A beautiful sound composer is there too.
With usb stick who needs cd-rw for data upto 60mb.
Got the usb charger cum data cable, hands free, a set of LG speakers with built-in amplifier with the phone - all for only 6k.
So good that i bought another one for my wife too. :)

Sometimes the voice we hear is very low.
'Add to contact' option missing a la Nokia.
Did not find option to add a word to T9 dictionary (yet to find it out). Alarm possible only with the phone switched ON.
Speakerphone is not that clear.

thankfully my piece has no empty folder prob
but catching network is major prob,and so is battery backup
whaddya xpect for 5.5k

I am planning to buy G1800. Please answer these questions at the earliest.
1. Does this mobile support mp3 songs at less than 128 kbps so that more songs can be stored.
2. What about the battery backup time while hearing songs.

I was also facing the 'empty folder' problem. But then I bring it to LG Service Center. They told me that this is the Software problem, which is coming in most of the handsets. They upgraded the software which takes only few minutes (and free of cost :-) ) and it is working fine since then.

i recently bought LG G1800 but unfortunately i am facing similar "empty folder" problems. i read quite some reviews but found no solution.does anyone have a solution for it? or is visiting the lg service center the only choice ? if so where are the service centers in mumbai? i would be humbled if anyone would help me with this problem. plz mail me and i will owe u one!!! thanks !!!

yes...mahesh..this is normal....bcoz....64mb is phones internal memory..but..certain amount of memory..is required..for phones application...wht we call as shared memory..this...is applicable to every handset and memory card

Hi this is mahesh. I have G1800 model. But when I connect it to PC, it only shows 59mb capacity instead of 64mb. Is it normal? Or could I change any settings??? Please let me know.

I bought the LG1800 recently. Not able to configure it to upload music to the phone from my pc. Reason, I have windows 98. Catalogue says I can download it from the site, the links are dead... Does anyone have the driver for Phoenix mass storage? I am told that if you have an xp system the driver is already configured... Help me and please send me the driver....

I recently bought lg g1800 phone.it is good ,but posted empty folder problem.I went to the service center and displayed them the problem.they updated the version of the phone,curing the problem.It also increased the volume of the phone.

Hi all, recently purchased the set, good quality sound is a +point. we can us mp3 pro file to store more songs. most functions well except the keypad is too hard to press its not soft.
Problems are when switch on the set the contacts disappeared. after some time it appear. i dont know wats this? clicking on the button said "processing please wait" but no out put. any solution pls mail me.
