Few quick questions to the brothers who flashed their LG G3 D858hk and Updated From Kitkat to MM using LG UP Tool，Please Check thw following points bedore you reply me Please reply me ASAP，I'll be very much grateful to the one who reply me plz plz plz help me，If all below questions answer are positive then I'll udate to MM using LG up tool IA
1. Are you able to access the LG Health as you usedto do it on kitkat
2. Is the LED has different color lights in MM as we have in Kitkat for example for Incoming Calls Green light for Charging red light and some other work brinjal lights?
3. Is knock Code available in MM as we have in Kitkat?

To all d858hk user dial this code 3845#*858# to enhanced ur unit, specially for unlocking the lte and make sim1 or sim2 vice versa lte also and for unlocking the all band of lte so do it guys especially to solve ur probs about lte issue in ur country .and also unlocking the volte. . look on wcdma and lte goodluck guys enjoy. . .

finally i have successfully installed official mm in my 858hk. though it was very tough. flashtool wasn't working. up tool not recognising my device. but... i am happy its done.

Seems for the D858HK, unless you are in Hong Kong, OTA may not work. I have a D858HK which i used in Sri Lanka and it would not find new MM update.
I then went ahead and updated it to MM manually using the flash tool, and did a CSE flash to clear all my data (with a major jump in version i felt it was worth reinstalling my phone, as i had software to restore my sms, calls, etc).
The phone is indeed much more smoother, and the camera is now faster (like it was with my D855 running Android 5.0.2, the 4.4 version had a lag).
I have been running MM 6 for over a week, and the phone has not shown any peculiar issues, and battery is also decent (the screen being the key consumer of power in my case).

hi,
i flashed my d858hk to android 6...
UX is smooth,scrolling in menu is very fast and no lag,but i feel battery is drain faster than v20d and v20e.
LG added battery optimized to android 6 but i think this feature is not working well.
i disabled all google app like hangout,google drive,google+,google speech but still i think battrey drain fast.
this issue also exist in v20c andriod 5 but v20d and v20e android 5 not have this problem.
or maybe just my phone drain fast..i dont know

1= normal flash: as i read that will not delete the media but i didnt try
2=cse flash: which remove all the data
but the CSE flash is better because you will had fresh OS, you must backup all data, contacts and reinstall the apps .
but believe after days from using android 6 MM, its better and faster with wonderful LG UI, you will not be sorry to flash it

I guess i will wait for mm for d856 if it ever came out.
I am extremely scared by flashing custom roms. And they are difficult to flash.
