I bought the model D858HK but it doesn't show me the option to update to Android 6 (Marshmallow). I am running 4.4.2 at the moment. How can I safely update my Android version?

Sagaboy, 12 Sep 2016I bought an LG D858HK just over 1 year ago and it came with... morebro i had the same problem. i refurbished (flashed) the phone using LG UP tool. Use this simple method. He is telling about upgrade, but same tool can be used as refurbish option as well.

I bought an LG D858HK just over 1 year ago and it came with Android Version 4.2.2, and since then it hasn't updated, even with auto update turned on; nor will it update manually. I tried rooting it which worked twice, then tried to upgrade to marshmallow (4 times) following these instructions http://techno-graphics.blogspot.co.uk/2015/08/upgrade-lg-g3-dual-sim-lgd-858hk-to.html and each time it goes through all the motions smoothly without even a hitch from start to finish, but when I checked it still shows Android Version 4.2.2 and reverts back to the unrooting state. Has anyone got any ideas why it's not holding the marshmallow firmware update and the rooting?

I already have a wireless charging pack ont... moreI faced the same problem but soon found out the the thin pins of its charger frequently disconnect in the socket...
I ensured it's continued connection, the issue is resolved .

I have uploaded the Fulmics ROM patch on XDA for just follow the steps and enjoy rooting.
for all others, my videos are up for D858HK on youtube regarding how to upgrade to Android MM from 4.4.2.
Please be advised that, you will loose imei if rooting to Fulmics

I cannot even connect the phone to LG PC suite 5 because it doesn't recognize the phone by USB and also doesn't have the option settings>conect and share> PC suite
