You ever heard of HTC Boomsound ? Real stereo speakers. Blows the roof of your head. As loud as 95 decibels yet clear. If you see it videos, then you will not buy LG phones again. I used LG Nexus, Optimus ME, and LG G Flex. So i know how LG speakers sound. They are loud but not clear.

Dual sim variant will never get the update. LG skipped upgrading dual sim variant to lollipop because battery life takes the hit because of QHD display in lollipop, and dual sim drains battery faster than single sim. So keeping this in view, and G3 users are already crying because of less battery life, LG decided to skip the updates for dual sim variant.

how the heck LG wont give marshmallow update? when Tmobile, Verizon and sprint all have show Android 6.0 update for LG G3 and acc to HongKong, we will get MarshMallow update. have a good life with your low class HTC :D

It is confirmed that this phone is not getting Lollipop and Marshmallow update. So i bought HTC One E8 dual sim. It has boomsound speakers and lollipop and marshmallow update for the same price.

d857 is chinese version D858 or HK is Hong Kong version P.S hong Kong is chinese governate

However, I actually went and purchased today, it's a D858HK. In another word D858 = D858HK. I hope it helps if anyone in the future came across this.

D856 supports 900/2100 gsm band. It means 3G/4G works in India, pakistan, middle east and some asian countries. D858 is a world phone. D858 supports all 3G/4G bands worldwide. This is the only difference. Both models will not get lollipop or marshmallow update. Only single sim G3 D855 will get the update. Kitkat is a very good and stable OS.

Curious, what is the major different D858HK and D858. I'm thinking to buy a dual SIM and they are selling D858 here only. Is battery drainage a major problem if I'm planning to use the stock ROM/OS.
Meanwhile, I will try to read the 34 pages comments here :)

Anonymous, 18 Oct 2015I bought lg g3 d858hk from uae.. Its kitkat 4.4.2..would i ... moreDont update ur kitkat. I am facing worst experience on lollipop 5.0 20e. Phone is hanging badly. My contacts and messages are open with delay of almost 20 second and battery timing is also not so good. Currently i have just install very basic apps. Now I am planning to switch back to kitkat. Wait 4 andriod 6.0.
