All done good so far just read the instruction on lg support tool page. and have good backup of your phone plz use lg own backup software which is pre- installed in lg g3 on andriod 4.4. this just only backup the settings and software and other stuff it is not the os backup. follow the steps given on above mentions site and u r done

Qi wireless charging is missing. Because of that I bought Qi receiver,put it where it belongs and still can not wireless charge my phone. Whats the problem? I also can not take the receiver off the battery case.

I tried the marshmallow port by abbas on xda.
It was my first time and all went good.
Altough i did find a bunch of minor bugs in it.
I wonder if abbasmuhammad223 could release a rom for d856 ported from d858hk. Which would be alot better since the only difference the two models is lte bands.

Hi
I'm completely new to android phones
I'm looking for a 3GB RAM, 32 GB ROM, good dual sim, good battery (say like this 3000 mAh) phone. I'm planning to buy this LG G3 after reading the specifications, price etc online
I live in the middle east . I do have a wifi and reasonable 3G data connection. I am ok with computers but completely new to Android phones
I plan to use this phone for
(a) some messaging (whatsapp, google hangouts, skype etc),
(b) some mail - both web based on pop like gmail, hotmail etc ,
(c) some browsing and
(d) social media thru apps - very regular / common Soc media like FB, twitter
Is it necessary to update to MM and if so is it possible to update the phone to Android MM in the middle east ? I do NOT have admin password on my laptop, meaning I can't install stuff on my laptop, so I will have to do this (update to MM) online (I.e.) using some web interface IF that exists, or directly from the phone
what else should I take care before I jump in and buy

can someone tell me that how to update lg g3 d858hk to marshmallow using kdz file.I m trying to flash it with lg flash tool but it is giving error on 23% please disconnect the cable from your cell phone in order and remove and connect the battery.
Power on your cell phone and press the restart button to resume update.
