LG G7 ThinQ Android Pie Beta demoed on video

Yordan, 04 December 2018

Two weeks ago LG started pushing the Android Pie Beta to users, part of the LG OS Preview program. The new changes include Gesture Home Button, Adaptive Brightness and Adaptive Battery and Digital Wellbeing.

The software update is currently deployed in South Korea and a user posted a video of the second Beta, showing what it looks like.

In order to be part of the program, you can sign up through the Quick Help app. This means you have to own a Korean unit.

Since LG is keeping its beta testing to the domestic market, other countries and versions might not see the upgrade until a final version is ready, and this will likely happen early next year.

Thanks for the tip!
