abs value for money. been using since a month and serves well. my first lg and am not at all disappointed. just what u would look for a practical, inexpensive cell. no gimmicks. u pay for what u use.

I am an iPhone 3G user who wanted a second phone for an outdoor working environment, I am currently based in Thailand and just bought this little LG for 990 baht! that is about 12.50 in UK pounds!! jeez guys what do you expect for that kind of money, it is an awesome deal for a unique handset like this that can play FM Radio without an external antenna, it looks reasonably stylish it is lightweight has a really nice key layout with bright blue backlighting and yeh ok not a great feature list but again.....look at the price. Web browser, MP3 oh please are you kidding me.

simple and very lite weight, a great phone in its range compare to other phones..
dumb people says no gprs no wap no mp3? how can you people expect those feature in a basic model that to @ 1,715/-, don't post that kind of crazy comments, if want those features u better spend more money on your phone...

From the GSM arena specification,there is GPRS feature in this phone.But my manual being in non-English language;I can get the default browser of the set.Truly speaking,I can't get any way to activate wap here.
Can anyone please help me in this regard?Again,within this 1MB internal memory is it possible to download and install opera mini?
Can anyone of you guyz tell me how I can get the English user guide of this set?

when radio is on, its not possible to access other functions of the phone without exiting the radio first. radio does not play in background. However, the radio needs virtually zero start up time so i guess for the price of the phone, its not a very big issue.

Just bought this phone a week ago. Here is a list of pros and cons.
Pros:
1) Comfortable keypads
2) Decent looking screen
3) UI very user friendly except messaging
4) Short-cuts on 4 way keypad very useful
5) Built quality is good
6) Very Cheap
7) Radio (Dont work very well when indoors)
Cons:
1) Ringtones are loud but diminishes greatly when the speaker on top of screen is covered. Ringtone almost inaudible when in pocket.
2) Horrible ringtones.
3) Messaging not very user friendly. Have to keep pressing options to send and press option again to search for contacts. Whereas for nokia, send msg just press the green call button and press down to search contacts.
